4th Floor Common Room: Thursday Night [2-8-07]

Lana was curled up on a couch in the common room, ostensibly watching TV, but really wondering about things like where Phoebe was. Jim was still sick so she was out here where she wouldn't disturb his sleep. And she thought that being out where others might stop by and distract her could be a good thing.

There was no one up in the 5th floor common room so Molly wandered down a floor. She grinned when she saw Lana. "Hey, Lana! How are you?" she asked as she walked in and plopped in a chair.

"Pretty good," Molly said. "This week's been pretty quiet, but that's okay. I'm just glad to be solid again."

"I'm so sorry," Molly said quietly.

"It kind of was my fault though," Molly said with a small frown. "Cam and I accidentally let those shadow things loose."

"Neither do I!" Molly said with a grin.

"But, still, if there is anything I can do to make it up to you, just tell me."

Setsuna came into the common room to make some tea to curl up with while she read, nodding to the others with a small smile and a "Good evening," before reaching for the kettle.

"Not too bad," Setsuna responded. "It's been a good, productive day." She nodded as she started her tea and then turned, leaning on the counter a little as she waited and conversed. "How have you been, Lana?"

Molly laughed with her. "It's a deal then. If something comes up, don't hesitate to ask."

"Old common room?" Setsuna's head tilted slightly; perhaps she needed to get out of her room a little more, although, really, it wasn't her room that was the problem. More like the salle. "You've moved down a floor?"

"Hmm," Setsuna let out a small, thoughtful sound, small and amused smile on her face. There was also a little bit of a blush, as she started to think about her own recent stay in Ranma's new room and wondering about the process of getting rooms officially changed like that. Not because she felt Ranma and her were anywhere near that point, and Setsuna certainly couldn't bring herself to ask Lana anything about it, because she'd be far too embarrassed, but it was still...nice to think about, the idea of getting to spend that kind of time with Ranma and not have to worry about the twins being there, too...

Setsuna shook her head to break away from her idle reverie before asking, "And your classes this semester? Are they going well?"

Setsuna's head bobbed a little. "They're going well. Spy tech is a real challenge for me, but it balances out because Defense Against Malicious Magic is on the easier side of things for me."

"I haven't really spoken to her much, really," Setsuna shrugged slightly, "but I agree that she does seem to have something relatively inapproachable about her. Absolutely nothing like Alianne-sensei, that's for sure. It's...a jarring transition in spy tutors..."

Jim decided to come up to the fourth floor this evening and see what happened two floors above him. Watching television and talking, apparently. That was familiar. He liked it.

He took a seat and said, "Hi, um, people I don't actually know yet."
