"Yeah, pancakes just aren't pancakes without syrup, I totally agree." Neil said in a conversational tone.

Carefully pouring some syrup out onto a spoon, he doled it out across the pancake bits so that it didn't make the pancake or the mouse, a totally soggy syrupy mess.

"There we go!"
