The Roof, way late Sunday night

Ami walked out on the roof. It was still mostly nice out and she had wanted some fresh air. She took a deep breath and looked around. It was dark and quiet. Except for a soft humming sound. //"What is that?"// she wondered, but before she could think any further, she was surrounded by a bright light. //"What the...?"// She couldn't move, couldn't yell, couldn't do anything. The light got brighter around her, and then it was gone. So was Ami.
