The Roof, Tuesday Afternoon
For a relaxing week off of school, this was turning into an insanely stressful time.
Teddy sat on the ledge, looking out over the campus. Why he came up here after the fight with Cassie a few days ago, he hadn't the faintest idea. It just seemed like a place where he could get someemoingthinking done.

They were four words that helped overcome a fear of heights momentarily, too. Chad reminded himself not to jump to any conclusions as he carefully lowered himself down to sit next to Teddy. He stayed quiet as he looked down at his hands in front of him, and waited. If Teddy needed to talk, he was there to listen.

He was quiet a moment longer before he said anything.
"You...you'll be careful, right?"
Not that he doubted it; he just...needed to hear a confirmation.

"...How long will you be gone?" he asked, squeezing a little tighter. "Do you know?"

Like, you know. Getting back yesterday.
"When...are you leaving?"

"I'll miss you."

And worry about you and not stop thinking about you for anything, and then worry some more.
He felt hesitant before saying anything more; it felt selfish to ask. "Are...are you busy tonight? Have a lot of stuff to do before you leave, or...?"
