5th floor common room - Tuesday evening

Her package came in today. And she wasn't talking about the care package from her parents. She had ~~handwavily~~ ordered the Nintendo Wii with several accessories and lots of games. She wasn't exactly sure how to use everything yet, but after an hour or so she finally figured out how to set it up.

She popped a bowl of hot buttery popcorn and stood before the TV. She didn't have one in her room and she didn't want to mess with Cally's stuff ~~and mun has no idea if Cally has a tv or not.~~ So she hoped no one minded that she was monopolizing it for her own personal pleasure.

It was just kind of making her mad though. She was this princess and she stood before the TV moving her remote thingy this way and that and she couldn't quite get herself where she wanted to go and do what she needed to do. "Crap! Go! You stupid girl!" With her other hand, she grabbed a handful of popcorn and shoved it in her mouth. "Go! Left! Left! No. Ugh!" She stomped her foot and just started to randomly click the things on the control thingy. "Waste of daddy's money is what you are!"

Tori had wandered around the dorms after the Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1266073.html), not sure what to do with herself.

That's how she ended up on the fifth floor and had entered the common room, spotting Annette. "Hey Annette! What are you playing?" Long time no see echoed in her head, causing her to smirk.

[OOC: I couldn't resist tagging into this, omg! I love it. *<3's the Wii and wants one so badly!*]

"Ugh, Tori," she mumbled by way of greeting. "This princess game and I'm her only she seems to be kicking my butt which is her butt as well and this is just stupid!" Annette was almost ready to throw the control thingy at the TV.

(ooc: yay! I have xbox 360 but so want this too!)

Tori frowned. "Oh man, I'm sorry." She hated to see Annette so discouraged. "Maybe the controller is set up the wrong way?" Inverted or something like that?

[OOC: Oh man, I have XBox but not the 360. *sad!* I totally love the Wii. One of my guy friend has it and I play it every chance I get.]

That perked her up and she looked over at Tori, hopeful. "You think? Here," she said, handing it to her. "You try. I need a popcorn and chocolate break anyway."

Annette plopped on the couch and ate a handful of popcorn, watching Tori.

(ooc: the 360 is great! addictive, but I'm still not very good..hehe)

"Is that a Wii?" asked Dick. For he is from 2005 and had only heard a shadow and a rumor of such a beautiful thing.

She looked over at her shoulder at Dick, "Yeah, but I'm about ready to throw the stupid piece of crap out the nearest window."

"It could be the case." Tori shrugged, accepting the controller. "Okay, right." She stared at the controller and then at the television and back to the controller. "Uh, yeah." She waved it around, wondering if that would do anything.

[OOC: My boyfriend has one, but I have yet to play anything on it.]

"Hmm, maybe it's not the Wii." he says, smirking. "Maybe you just don't have the mad skills to master it."

"Maybe I didn't open and hook up everything right?" She offered, looking at the mess on the floor before her. "It took me an hour though. I have other games too. Maybe the game just sucks."

Annette pouted at him. "I got skills. I got way skills, Dick." She kicked the empty packages and stuff around her feet. "Maybe I just didn't hook it up right. And maybe it's just the stupid game."

"Oh don't pout. My heart can't take it." said Dick, smiling. He bent down to shake some of the boxes. "Hmmm, maybe there's a leftover wire in the boxes or something."

Tori frowned. "It's quite possible." She looked at the console. "I imagine it did." It did look somewhat complicated. She laughed. "The game might be spiting you." Tori waved the controller around once more and decided to press a few buttons, to see if anything happened.

[OOC: Had anything specific you want to happen?]

"You're heart is into teasing me." She replied with what may have been a tiny, crooked grin. "And I don't think so." She said when he started to go through the boxes.

Annette looked back at the TV. "I think she just knows a girl is playing her and she doesn't like it, so she's running helter-skelter to get away from me. Stupid girl with fake computer made boobs."

Annette watched in hopeful wonder at the screen. "Do you know anything about these things Tori?"

(ooc: no, *grins* Annette is just video game illiterate. Tori can do whatever she wants with it and find out that it works perfectly for her *G*)

Dick unconciously looked up at the TV at the mention of boobs. "Maybe she's just hard to move cause she's in a dress. They're restricting."

"Not that I've ever worn a dress." he added quickly. "Okay, I dressed up like a cheerleader for Halloween one year but I was totally wearing shorts under the skirt."

"Not really, no." Tori shook her head. "The boys would know more about this than I do." She pressed the buttons again and moved the controller, the image moving with her. Tori stared at the television and then moved the controller again. Yep, it was working.

[OOC: Bwahahaha! Okay, I wanted to make sure before I made it work. *g*]

She narrowed her eyes at the screen. "I don't think they think like that. I think they think that it's easy to use the bathroom when you're out in the middle of nowhere and have to find someplace to squat."

Annette arched a brow and cut her eyes at him. "I bet you weren't. I bet you were wearing those men thongs with something painted on each cheek for the girls to read when they lifted your skirt in passing." Okay, so she had witnessed such a thing before. Dick could have done it too.

She frowned as she watched Tori work the controller perfectly with the princess on the screen. "That's not fair. The stupid controller! I'm allergic to it! That must be it." She shoved more popcorn in her mouth. "Can you get to the next level?"

"Ah, one of the benefits of being a guy." he said, grinning. "No bathroom, no problem."

Dick burst out laughing. "I can't say I did but now that you've given me the idea I know what I'm going to do next time."

She gave him a look. "Squating is not hard. And I bet you wouldn't be saying that if natured called for number two." She added with a firm nod and pursing of her lips.

"Don't tell me you are going to wear a skirt just for that purpose? What makes you think any girl will lift it?" She would, but that was beside the point.

"That. Is. SO. AWESOME!!!"

Sokka stood in the doorway with his mouth open and watched the TV and Tori and the TV and the white boxy thing and... Ooooooh. Pretty. Want.

Of course, sometimes it's not a good idea to focus ALL your attention on something.

"OW! OW! AAAARGH!! OWW!!" This was the sound of a suddenly unsupported chinchilla clawing madly at Sokka in a desperate attempt to avoid falling.

Tori grinned sheepishly. "I'm sorry? You want it back?" She offered. Tori glanced back at Annette and shrugged. "I can try, if you want me to?"

"What makes me think a girl would lift it?" asks Dick, gasping in faux shock. "I'm insulted! For your information I've got an ass like Marky Mark and the entire Funky Bunch. Chicks can't resist it."

Tori jumped slightly and the outburst. She turned and blushed slightly. "Uh, hi."

She winced. "You okay?" She noted the chinchilla and its claws must hurt A LOT. But, hey, it was adorable so it was all good.

"Sokka? What the heck? Is that a..." Yep, one of those things that was in the Valentice dance punch bowl.

"Want to try it?" She waved the remote control thingy to her game. "It doesn't seem to like me."
