School grounds, Friday (before the field trip)

They had talked about it. They had done a bit of possibly-less-than-platonic practising for it. But now, after massive downpours and genderswapping bad vibes and boosted by the happy presence of penguins, they were actually doing it.

Jude and Blair were standing in front of the dorms, holding aloft their large yet simple signs:

'FREE HUGS'

"I'm doing great. Excited for the trip, and no." She smiled and looked down for a moment, embarrassed. "No more impersonating for me. Promise." She might have had her fingers crossed, because promising just wasn't good unless you knew you were going to keep it.

"I'm pumped for the trip too." Blair grinned and leaned forward to whisper. "Don't worry about it. You can pretend to be me anytime you want."

"Oh, me too. We're going to have so much fun!" Annette chuckled. "I don't think I can do the bouncing anymore. Though I have to tell you, I really like the bouncing when you do it. And oh, yeah, I uh, need to return your clothes to you."
