Outside the Dorms: Thursday Morning [4-5-07]

Isobel had called in sick to work again as she wasn't about to take the chance that Millie would realize what was going on. Not when they were so close to achieving their objective. But she wasn't going to stay in the room with Mr. Snuggly either. So she was out in front of the dorms, going over her list of ingredients she'd need for the opening spell and making notes. Yes, it might be a bit cold, but it was simple enough to keep herself warm with a spell. Her spell book remained safely tucked away in her backpack as she was unwilling to let it far from her sight.

[OOC: Thread with Jack is locked to them and NFB except that they ran into each other, please. Post is open before and after that if someone wants to run into Witch!Lana. Just mark thread, please. :) ]

Briana was also up and about as she wandered Fandom, looking for Isobel or Madeline to warn them about the demon who was in love with Phoebe.

Isobel saw Briana and lifted a hand in greeting.

Briana smiled and made her way over to her friend.

"We may have a problem," she said without preamble.

Isobel's eyes narrowed. "What have you done?" she asked with a bit of an edge to her voice.

"Me? You're the one that didn't warn me that this one's boyfriend was a demon," she said, her voice not at all happy, either.

Isobel put her hands on her hips. "You should have your host's memories. How did you not know this? I told you to be careful around the one's close to these three - told you they were very protective."

"Because this one never referred to him as Bell or a demon in her memories! All that's in her mind about him is the fact that he has always been the love of her life and that she recently had thought he was dead!"

She glared. "I have been careful, and have even used spells to cover my tracks so no one knows we're here. Damn it, I even turned her nephews into animals so they didn't get too close."

Perhaps now wasn't the time to ask Isobel if she could bring the pretty Anders with her when they left....

Isobel shook her head. "Obviously your memories from your host are not as clear as mine. Well, nothing I can do about that now. So tell me, what have you done about the demon?"

"Currently, he's locked in their rooms and frozen in place," she said. "He cannot move, nor can he speak. And since it is known how lusty he is, it's not like anyone will break down the door if they cannot find him." She shook her head. "Are you positive we'll be leaving here by tomorrow? It took him three days to break my last spell."

"If all goes well," Isobel replied. "I'm making a list of necessary ingredients for the spell in case you can't convince the professor to let you see the artifacts."

Briana shrugged. "Phoebe seems to have a great deal of respect and liking for this professor. I doubt that getting her aid in this will be difficult."

"Good," Isobel said. "And check on the demon later to make sure he hasn't broken loose of the spell. I can go with you if you need me to."

Briana nodded. "Of course. If we have to, we can double our strength and just keep adding to the spell."

"Exactly," Isobel agreed. "Especially if you were careless enough to tell him who and what you are. We can't afford to let him get free."

"All he knows is that I'm not his precious wimp," she said scathingly. "I am not that stupid to tell him who I am, Isobel."

"Does he know about us?" Isobel asked. "Or does he believe you are alone here?"

"He knows that I am not alone here, but he doesn't know how many of us there are. Of course, he was much more focused on the fact that I was here in his girlfriend's body and that he would kill this body to kill me." She frowned for a moment. "Unless you think we can keep him under our control, you maybe should not go with me to check on him. Phoebe's memories say she is sisterly with your host, and good friends with Madeline's host. If he sees you, he'll know that you cannot be Lana."

Isobel frowned. "True. Well, be very wary of him. We cannot afford to be thwarted this close to achieving the goal we have set for ourselves."

"Of course I'll be wary of him. I have no desire to be cast back into the Abyss." She sighed. "Are you sure I cannot kill him?"

"Not until we've achieved our objective," Isobel said firmly. "Once we are all powerful you may kill him if you choose."

"Although," she said, her lips curling in a smirk. "It might be more interesting to enslave him and keep him as a pet. He seems as though his prowess in certain areas might make him useful to us."

Briana gave a slow, considering smile. "It would be fun to enslave him... he is good in several areas and I would like to keep him and Anders with us... they could be so fun to play against each other, too..." She grinned. "The memories of the two of them in this one's head are simply delightful, Isobel... and the tension is fun, too."

"We can keep whomever we choose," Isobel replied. "I think perhaps I will keep Jack and his Cedric. They would be great fun to torment. And, several others..." Mmmm.... yes, there had been a number of others she would enjoy keeping around.

"That's a nice thing about going through all of this. getting our goal allows us to keep these ones around us... I think I shall enjoy tormenting the demon with seducing his friend again and again... all while wearing his beloved's face..."

Isobel laughed coldly. "Wonderful, isn't it?"

Briana's smile was just as cold as that of her friend. "It is very wonderful," she agreed. "Power, pretty men, and revenge for the time we have lost all rolled into one."
