Dorm Roof, Friday Afternoon

Billy found he liked the roof. It was harder to get snuck up on up here. He kept a sharp eye all round. He also had a pair of binoculars with which to watch those on the grounds. If his enemies met there, he'd see them.

Come be spied on from the roof, or come up and be suspected. Or come up and ignore him. Either way, open.

Tori needed to get outside for a little bit, before Self-Defense started. She was trying to figure out why she had believed Blake to be around her all yesterday and why Sokka had thought he was a chicken.

Something was off, that was for sure.

Billy turned at the sound of approaching footsteps. "Tori." he nodded. "Hey."

"Oh, hey Billy." Tori had been so engrossed in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed him up there. "How's it going?"

"Not bad." he said neutrally. "You?" he watched her carefully. She was a ninja, she might be more of a threat than the others.

Tori shrugged. "I could be better. There's some weird things going on, weird even for Fandom." She admitted. "Are you okay?" She noticed him watching her and wondered what that was all about.

"Fine." he said quickly. "What kind of weird things?" He wasn't trying to make it sound like an interrogation.

Setsuna decided to come up to the roof for a bit before heading into work. Possibly because she was considering flying into work. What a way to arrive, y'know?

Ami was on the roof, practicing the warm-ups Setsuna taught her. Because it was nice out. Yeah.

She waved to Billy but decided to do the exersises first, before speaking with him.

"Sokka was a chicken." Tori explained. "And I was apparently talking to imaginary people last night." She grinned sheepishly at that.

"Imaginary people?" Billy asked, worried. Were his enemies striking at his friends? Or was she going insane? "Nice imaginary people at least?"

Billy ducked quickly behind an obstruction. Had she seen him?

Even being on his guard, Billy was able to enjoy watching Ami warm up.

Tori nodded. "Yeah, as silly as it sounds." She smiled. "Yeah, they were nice. That's always a good thing."

Ami finished her exercises and waved. "Hey, how are you?"

"They tell you to do anything?"

"Fine." he said. "You?"

"Ok. Practicing" She grinned.

"I can see that." he said, wondering if she might have an ulterior motive for the training. "Looking good."

"Thanks. These are the things Setsuna-chan taught me, and i actually have to learn them unlike the weird thought-less fighting"

Ah yes, the sword work that came so naturally to her. Maybe she was a sleeper agent? And what else was Setsuna teaching her?


"How long have you been working on those?"

"These? Um all week. They mostly make me feel uncoordinated and awkward..."

Billy frowned thoughtfully. Could be a ploy of some kind. "I imagine that'll pass as you practice."

"I hope so, and Setsuna-chan said that as well. At least it isn't weirdly coming naturally like the swordwork." She smiled, a bit worriedly. "How are you? Haven't seen you in a few days... Missed you at the movies in the park..."

"I've been, meditating a lot." he said evasively.

"Oh... how's that going?" Ami frowned slightly at the evasiveness.

"Pretty good." he said. He didn't want to give too much away. He didn't know what her game was. "Selkie cove's especially good for that."

"Really? Maybe i should try going there..." She looked at him a bit oddly. "Billy, are you alright?"

Tori shook her head. "Nope, just had some friendly conversations."

"Fine, why what have you heard?" he asked suspiciously.

"Um, nothing, but you are acting kinda odd..."

"Am I?"

"Yes?" Now Ami was a little bit confused

"How so?" Could someone have done something to him?

"You are just so... you knwo i can't explain you just seen mot quite like you usually are."

Billy frowned worriedly. Maybe something had been done to her.

"'Sokay. Maybe you're just having an off day."

"Maybe..." Ami frowned slightly. Something was wrong with him. "I... need to go..." And she walked away from the roof.
