Rikku had tiptoed downtown and grabbed some donuts at J,GoB. If the other cheerleaders felt anything like she did, they were going to need some sugar in order to get their pep going today. Crying didn't help with basket tosses. But maybe the basket tosses would help with the crying.

She set up the gym (and a table with the donuts on it) extra-early and then waited around in the hallway for other people to show up.

"Hey guys!" Buffy waved a hand. "I ~~handwavily~~ turned in our petition and we get to do our show! We need to work on our competition routine and buy glitter." Glitter was important to shows, right?

Aly wouldn't actually mind babysitting the sproglings. But the cheerleaders were probably grateful that Joanie and Thomas weren't around trying to distract them or take over the squad.

"Buffy, I can't stick around for practice today. I have to go help set up a surprise party for Dr. Wilson."

Buffy nodded. "Okay, remember to practice later then." She smiled. "We want to look our best in front of the rest of the school!"

"Sure thing," Marie promised before scooting off.

Practise is important, which is why Chad's doing it. Good for distraction stuff, too...

His emo's at the loss of Pippi, though, not the loss of his kid. Orden would probably beat him up if he knew Papa was a cheerleader.
