Around the dorms, Monday evening

Peter had an assignment for the paper that he hadn't done anything with so far. He had to talk to seniors about their post-graduation plans. He had one day to get this together. That meant that it was time for ambushing seniors in the hallway and asking them a few simple questions.

This would be fun, he was sure.

[OOC: If any seniors would like to ping in and help me out, that would be awesome. If not, I may be forced to make stuff up. If you've read my recent newspaper articles, you can see what kind of insanity that would be. Jack Harkness: plans to become a cross-dressing exotic dancer. Phoebe Halliwell: is working on her campaign to set up the position of President of Europe and take that title. Don't make me make things up, I beg of you. Four should be enough for me to write an article. If you'd still like to stop by and answer Peter's questions, though, that would still be awesome.]

"And what a fine trade it is," Peter said. "Last question. Looking ahead into the future, where do you see yourself for your ten year reunion?" Peter didn't request that she avoided answering "Here in Fandom." If she wanted that joke, she got to use it. She was the only one.

"Here at Fandom," Zero said promptly. "According to a certain young lady I met last week, with a...what, two? Two-year-old in tow."

"Sure," Angela said. "I'm not going to fight evil dinosaurs or film a movie or anything cool, though."

"How about in terms of your career?" Peter asked, smiling at the memory.

"No problem." He waved over his shoulder as he headed towards Sam's room. "See you, Peter."

"I dunno," Zero said thoughtfully. "It could go either way, really, film or music. I think...I think I'd like to be doing something important. Helping people."

"That's because you're a wonderful person," Peter said. "Thank you for helping me."

"Neither are most people, and that's a shame," Peter said. "First off, what are your plans for this summer? Doing anything special?""

"I need to save some spending money for college," Angela said, half-apologetically. "And my dad is kind of overpaying me to hostess in his restaurant. So basically I'll just be working and hanging out with my friends from back home."

"Being hostess can be exciting. You never know what kind of people you're going to meet," Peter said. "What about fall? Have you made your final decision on where you're going to college?"

"Hopefully it'll be non-demanding low-maintenance people who will tip really well," Angela said. "And yeah, I'm studying creative writing at the University of New York."

"Oh, cool," Peter said. "New York's filled with interesting people, too. Not low-maintenance, though. Okay, last one. Look ahead at a hypothetical ten year reunion. Where do you see yourself in terms of your life when you come back for that?"

"I see," Angela said, then stopped for a moment to think. "I guess I would like to still be in New York, doing something creative that made a difference in the world? Maybe I'll teach, or work at a literary magazine. I just don't know about getting married or kids or ... any of that."

"Gotcha," Peter said. "Okay, thank you for your time, Angela. This will end up in the paper on Wednesday."

"Thanks for interviewing me," Angela said politely. "Try not to make me look stupid?"
