After chatting with his brother and Dawn, Dean wandered back over to his own cabin, grabbed a soda and some campfire friendly food and settled down outside intent on just kicking back and relaxing.

John wandered over to the campfire after spending an aimless day skateboarding around town. "Ooh, food! I missed lunch in the cafeteria," he explained as he grabbed a handful of graham crackers.

John slumped into a chair, to get comfy for the evening. "So, what's new?" he asked Dean.

"Had my first how to blow things up class this afternoon," Dean said, putting a weiner on a long fork and holding it over the fire to cook. "Sounds like it's going to be really cool."

John nodded in agreement, "Nice! I had my first class with your dad yesterday. 'The gun is always loaded' shall be my new motto."

John bent forward and grabbed himself a weiner and shoved it onto the end of a fork. "Mhmm, dinner of champions," he muttered as he started burning his hot dog to a crisp in the fire.

"It's a good motto to have when it comes to handling guns," Dean agreed. "Dad's a good teacher about dealing with them. Took me target shooting for the first time when I was 6."

"Sounds like a good kind of dad to have - spent time and taught you a skill." Not that John would know what that was like, but he assumed it would be nice.

Alec wandered up and took a seat, grabbing a bag of marshmallows to pick from absently. He was still wearing Dean's shirt (http://g-ec2.images-amazon.com/images/I/41RYpPVLfGL._SS500_.jpg) as well. "This? Is totally the life."

"Can't argue with that," Dean said, then glanced over. "Dude, is that my shirt?"

"He's always made sure we knew what we needed to defend ourselves," Dean said.

"Rough neighborhood?" John asked.

He glanced down at himself, chewing on a marshmallow. "...Maybe." He didn't sound particularly concerned either way.

"My mom was killed by a demon when I was four," Dean explained. "Dad's been hunting them ever since. He wants to make sure nothing gets Sammy or me too."

"We sharing clothes now?" Dean asked nudging Alec with a foot. He wasn't particularly concerned either, morelike amused.

"I'd say that qualifies as rough. Do demons often find their way to Fandom?" John asked.

"One just graduated," Dean said.

Alec snickered, fishing out a new marshmallow to wave at Dean in amusement. "Sure, whatever. Like you're going to wear my clothes?"

Cordelia had been exploring the campus all day, and with the exception of seeing Savannah earlier, she'd been alone. She didn't particularly like being alone, so she was excited to see Dean, who she knew, and two guys she didn't know.

She plopped down at the campfire and grabbed a soda. "Hey Dean." She looked at the other guys. "Roommates? Or Passersby? I'm Cordelia, either way."

"You might be able to talk me into the leather pants," Dean told him with a grin. "In private at least."

"Cabinmates," Dean confirmed. "That's John Sheppard," he nodded in John's direction. "And that's Alec. No, we're not related. We just look alike."

Cordelia nodded and smiled. "And you just answered my second question. So how's your day been?"

Willow gave a wave as she passed by. "Hey Dean!"

"Hi Willow," Dean said, smiling as he waved back. "Want some campfire food? Hotdogs? S'mores?"

"Pretty good. Had my first class on how to blow things up." He grinned. "I love this school sometimes."

Cordelia snapped her head around when she heard the voice. She plastered on her brightest smile. "Willow. How nice to see you."

Willow came over. "Absolutely, especially if we agree to pretend that those are special s'mores that won't get me in trouble with my dad. We could say it's the magic of Fandom."
