Outside the Sphinx cabin, After the workshops

Ami had not had a good fighting class. In fact she had had a horrible class. Which is why she was moping outside the cabin.

Setsuna stepped out of the cabin on her way to check out the camp's gym faculties or try to seek Ami out, since she wasn't in her alcove, only to discover that Ami was there outside. Not looking too good, though.

"Ami-chan?" she asked, moving over toward her. //"Everything okay?"//

Ami sighed. //"I had my fighting class today. To say that i was bad would be an understatement."//

Setsuna frowned. //"You're probably making it out to be worse than it is, Ami-chan..."//

//"Oh god no. There was a soul sucking thing, and if it wasn't the danger room, it would have sucked my soul. The teacher told me i was the worst failure ever and he had no idea why i even bothered with the class."//

Ami just hung her head and nodded.

Setsuna let her anger stir for a bit before she could say anything. //"Well, he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. I've been your teacher longer than he has and I say you fight very well, and if he can't see your potential, then he's an idiot and maybe it isn't that you shouldn't be taking the class, but that he shouldn't be teaching it! Who's teaching it? I'll go in there and give him a piece of my mind...."//

//"It is a man named Zaraki, but don't. Really. I will... just try harder next time..."//

//"Ami-chan, there's no reason for anyone to say something like that. Especially because I know you do try hard..."// Setsuna sighed. //"No, you're not the best fighter I've ever seen, I'm willing to admit that, but to say that you have no business even trying is just...just...ridiculous."//

//"But... well, he is the teacher, he should know right?"//

Setsuna grunted lightly. Ami did seem to have a point there, she was thinking, at first, as she went through the fact that her teachers had all been pretty trustworthy, but, just yesterday, she did have her class with Squall, and, well...

She grunted again. //"I do not believe Fandom has as strict of guidelines for teachers as my are used to, I'm afraid. I mean, they hired Deadpool, after all."// A little voice in her head argued that Deadpool was not a bad teacher and she knew that, but she shoved it away quickly. //"I also have already had a debate of issues with our Interdisciplinary Studies teacher...I do not believe that 'teacher' necissarily means 'correct.'"//

Except, of course, when she herself was teaching.

//"Don't worry about it, okay, Ami-chan?"// Setsuna offered her another smile that she hope was encouraging, and, if that didn't do it, well...she put her arm around the other girl's back and gave her a little hug, too.

Setsuna's head tilted as she thought. //"I was heading to the gym just now..."// she told her. //"Would you like to come with me for a handwavey session? If anything, I can teach you some techniques to really show that jerk how wrong he is next week."//
