Kraken Campfire, Later Tuesday Night

Rikku hoped it wasn't too dark that people wouldn't be able to see that she now had purple hair.

Aly was on her short list of Favorite Teachers Ever.

She hoped the Kraken bathroom had recovered from any possible dye-related mishaps.

Rikku sat in front of the campfire, bouncing to herself. Ready to chat the ear off anybody and everybody who dropped by.

"Becky wouldn't give me a cookie because I didn't feel comfortable picking up a holographic hooker," Bridge makes a face. "They can be but usually there's *some* sort of productive reason behind it?"

"Mi casa es su casa, dude," Bridge says. "Well, mi dorm room as I don't actually have a casa."

"Well the creative stuff could happen after you make them answer the door," Bridge points out.

Valentine paused to consider for a moment.
"No, but I think one of my former cabin mates could pass as one?"

It was offical, then. Valentine was fake-allergic to Muppets.
Oh, the irony.

"Mercenary stuff? That's with Deadpool! He's my mentor. We each got a faculty mentor, like, to teach us stuff. We go sparring. He calls me Li'l Minion and threatens my boyfriend with a shovel. Tell him I said hi, he's awesome." She bounced. "I got one class on treasure hunting, which is really just theft, and one on explosives, and then one on annoying teachers. So it's like, 'Here, Rikku, here's a bunch of stuff you like and are good at, have fun!' If Fate's real and all, maybe it's happy about ... some stuff I did." She shrugged.

"Yeah, you got it. Add ooze and ninja training and you got us."

"The guy with the fire hair? He doesn't know much about style, does he?" Like Raph could talk.

"Maybe I could wear something really conservative-looking and pretend to be Rikku's evil twin? Or, uh, strange outer-space twin? This could be fun." She was considering it now.

"... Is that Animal? I kinda thought he was somebody's pet. He called me Wo-man. So, I mean, at least he can ... talk?!"

Fandom could still make her head hurt.

Wow, she really did talk faster than Mikey after he'd downed a packet of pixy stix. He didn't even know where to start. "Yeah." So articulate. "This school ain't what I expected. I figured algebra and Deportation," he meant Deportment, "And How to Be Martha Stewart and understand Shakespeare."

"Okay. Uh. I'll tell Jude you're in ... Kerpooeyrupu ... uh ... maybe you should come visit him here instead. Kraken. Easier to pronounce."

Then she realized she was being kinda dumb. "Which one is it, like, from here? Over on the other side? Bottom row? I mean, if you can find it, it doesn't matter what it's called. Right?"

"Okay. And you're disappointed?" Rikku raised an eyebrow curiously. "Last session I had a class about computer science, and one on Engineering for giant airships and stuff like that, and now I'm learning how to make better explosives. It's practical, and it's stuff I need. Okay, annoying teachers is just for the fun of it, but ..." She shrugged. "You can learn algebra from a book."

Valentine paused for a moment to consider.
"Get yourself a good camera. Something that takes decent photos and good video. The blackmail potential around here is phenomenal."

"Seriously?" Donnie's eyes widened further. "I mean, when I say nerd? I mean tech-nerd. Taking stuff apart, making new things, that's what I do for fun!"

"Um," Mikey blinked and picked a direction and pointed. "It's that one that you get to if you walk clear through the walls here and the main campfire and keep going straight," he decided.
Which was, miraculously, right. "Right next to sphinx!"

"Dude, he wears a dress," came the reply in a hushed tone.

"So, which casa is your casa, dude? Or, uh, dorm room?"
If Mikey had been told before, it totally didn't matter. Because he had the memory of a gnat at the best of times.

"I haven't really met him, to be honest," Valentine confessed. "So perhaps he... causes hives... at distances."
Valentine was pretty certain that he shouldn't be blaming other students for his imaginary hives.
Well, there was one other student that he wouldn't have a problem blaming for any potential health issues he ever suffered again for the remainder of his life.
Fortunately for Animal, he wasn't that student.

"Oh! I'm on the second floor. 227. Well, 225 is my workshop but I like, sleep and stuff in 227. Except when I'm sleeping in the cabins."

"Two-two-sev-five. Gotcha!" Mikey made a point to commit that to memory. "I'm in room 407. You know. When I'm not in Keroppi."

Raph smirked. "That part I figured out already. Ain't nothing like seeing your brother at cheerleading tryouts."

"The classes aren't the problem. Well, they're classes, so they're a problem, but it could be a whole lot worse. That's not why I don't wanna be here. I don't wanna be here because it's here. We got sent away for no good reason when there's stuff to do back home that needs to be done. No one should be forced to turn their back on doing the right thing."

"Not even a good one. I saw the holes in it when he was walking by. So what'd you do to him?"

"Really!?" Rikku bounced excitedly. "That's what I do! Broken bits and wires and you can take it all apart and even if it doesn't go back together you, like, learn from it? And I have all these books on engineering and gears and all of that in my room from the library and ... that is so great. What have you made? I haven't done anything interesting in ages. Well, I suppose the weapons count, right?"

Rikku laughed. "You could say he sheds. He has to, I'd think."
