Minotaur Campfire, Saturday Afternoon

There was a fuzzy, emo little frog by the dormant campfire, softly strumming his banjo and drowning his sorrows with music.

It's not easy, being green.
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer,
Being red or yellow or gold,
Or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy being green.
Seems you blend in with so many ordinary things.
And people tend to pass you over,
Cause you're not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water,
Or stars in the sky.

But green is the color of spring.
And green can be cool, and friendly like.
And green can be big, like an ocean,
Or important, like a river,
Or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be,
It can make you wonder why.
But why wonder, why wonder,
I am green.
And it'll do fine. It's beautiful,
And I think it's, what I want to be.

Adam had handwavily showered and changed after rollerblading through the park and was making his way through the campground.

He spotted Robin and waved, listening to his song. He sounded somewhat sad, so Adam moved over to the campfire to see what was wrong. "Hey Robin."

"I'm doing pretty well." Adam smiled as he took a seat. "How about you?"

"Oh." Adam knew immediately why Robin didn't seem so happy. "I'm sorry." That was all he could think to say. "I'm sure you did your best right? And I bet you'll get another shot at it soon."

Adam shrugged. "There's always a second chance. Who knows, you might make it next time." He was optimistic, or at least trying to be.
