Main Campfire, Monday Afternoon

Adam wasn't entirely sure where he should meet Charlie after her Mercenary workshop, so he figured the main campfire was as good a spot as any.

It would be fun to hang out with her, he wasn't sure what she had in mind, but he was a go for pretty much anything. Adam was slightly nervous for some odd reason, but then again that happened to him wherever girls were concerned. But especially cute, smart girls.

So Adam was currently seated around the main campfire, wondering what the afternoon had in store.

Charlie got done with her Mercenary class, and saw Adam at the main campfire before she headed back into Minotaur. "Hi! Could you wait a minute, while I clean up? I had to fight the professor today, I need to get some aspirin." And possibly an ice pack for a couple minutes. "I thought maybe we could go to the bowling alley I heard about?"

"Hey. Yeah, sure." Adam was a bit surprised at that. "Oh wow, are you okay?" He supposed he'd end fighting one or more of his professors one day. This seemed like a normal occurance. "Bowling alley sounds great to me."

"Oh, sure, fine. Just a little banged up. Professor Deadpool went easy on me." She grinned. "Cool. I'll be right back."

It was more like fifteen minutes, and time to shower and feel a little more human, before Charlie returned. "Sorry about that. We were using sticks to hit him, and he was hitting us back, and I just kind of suck at it." Charlie smiled and said, "So nachos and an easy game would be great."

"I'm glad to hear that." Adam smiled, quite relieved. "Oh, I see. Sure thing."

He didn't mind it being fifteen minutes, it was a-okay by him. He was used to it from home, thanks to Kim and Aisha. "No problem. I'm sure you'll be great at it in no time." Adam meant it. "I'm not sure exactly what he was teaching you, but if you want I could help you with it?" He'd learned stick fighting through his martial arts training. "That sounds good to me, too."

"You know martial arts?" Charlie asked, heading up the trail toward town, and tipping Adam a smile. "What kind? And have you bowled before? I have, but it's not exactly my best thing."

"I do, yeah." Adam nodded, smiling shyly. "Shaolin Kung Fu. I've bowled a couple of times, but yeah, I'm not exactly a pro at it either." He chuckled.
