2nd Floor Common Room, after lunch

Anemone was vexed.  No, she was beyond vexed.  The crazy lady’s constant announcements were getting on her nerves, and violence was not a reasonable solution.  Yet. 

 So she’s sitting on the floor of the common room, making various origami creations while Gulliver watches Animal Planet on the television.

[[ooc:  Open!  Anemone’s got tons of origami paper, so join in!  Although you may have to fight Gulliver for the remote, we’re pretty sure he’s sitting on it.]]

Bart had done a good job of ignoring any announcements so far and therefore was blissfully unaware of the scary lady running the school.

He was, however, aware that common rooms usually meant food.

Except now. Damn.

"Hey Bart." Anemone picked up an orange swan, and launched it through the air at him. "Here, have a birdie. I'm making an origami invasion. I think I'm going to leave them all over the dorms. It's better than a dinosaur invasion, because origami doesn't eat people. Usually."

Catching the paper bird, Bart turned it to face him so he could poke at it's weetiny beak. "Coool. Can they do anything?"

"He can kinda flap his wings, but that's about it. I just made him as a warm up for some of the harder ones." Anemone grinned, and pointed to a picture (http://www.origami.com/gal_twodinos.html) in one of her books. "I thought these might be kinda fun next."

This wasn't his floor, but Robin was a social creature, so he wasn't too worried about that.

"Hello hello." He greeted the people in the room. "Ooh! Paper!"

Ooo! Dinosaurs. Like the ones he missed... Aw. That made Bart sad for exactly five seconds before he bounced a little to get a better look at the other things in the book. "Can you make a mushroom out of green paper?"

It was always good to have an extra life.

"Mushrooms are totally easy. Pick a green, any green." Anemone pointed to the stacks of paper on the floor. "Grab me some colors for my first test dinosaur, too. I've made them before, but I'm a bit out of practice."

The nice thing about this school, Johnny admitted, was that there always seemed to be something going. So even though this wasn't his floor or his common room, he still felt okay wandering in and nodding to the pink-haired girl.

"Y'mind if I join you? I love this channel," he said. There was just something about monkeys and other animals doing stupid things that put him in a good mood.

"Hi!" Anemone quickly dug through her rather large pile of completed shapes, and held out a present (http://www.giladorigami.com/P_Frog_LaFosse.JPG). "Here! Have a froggie friend!"

Bart was there and paper was flying before she finished her sentence. Which made him try to catch them all, which caused more to fly. Hmm, a dilemma.

This meant he'd have to stop and move at a normal pace lest the paper of awesome be destroyed. After minutes HOURS of work, Bart handed over a lime green for the mushroom. "How about a pink dinosaur?"

Bart paused. Then blinked rapidly before grinning and rushing forward. "A frog? This is the best school ever!"

Bart waved at the new kid, also waving a piece of bright orange paper as he did so. "Hi!"

Johnny waved back at the unfamiliar kid, before picking up a piece of green origami paper from the floor and flipping it over a couple times.

"Hey there. Don't think we've met yet. 'M Johnny Blaze."

"Hello boy-I-do-not-know." Anemone waved him towards the couch. "Have a seat. Gulliver and I like watching this channel too. I think he likes seeing other animals."

"You got it." Anemone immediately got to work on the dinosaur, making the roaring T-Rex for Bart. He seemed like a T-Rex type of boy. "Coming up, one pink dinosaur and a bundle of mushrooms!"

"Oooh neat!" Robin took the present, and examined it appreciatively. "That's really good, thank you!"

"Hey. I dunno your name, but I think I've seen you around in the flight class. 'M Johnny, by the way."

Johnny looked over at the white furball. "What kinda animal's that? 'Ve never seen anything like it before."

Because he totally was. He'd have the dinosaur terrorize Andrews action figures when he got back to his room.

"Where'd you learn to do this?"

"Bart Allen," He replied, hand out in an instant for a shake. "Nice to meet you!"

Robin beamed. "Hi! I'm Robin." he held out a flipper.

Johnny reached out to shake his hand. "Pleasure's mine."

He kept toying with the piece of paper in his other hand. "So, you guys doin' origami too?"

Johnny stared openly at the talking, moving, wireless frog puppet for a minute before answering.

"Don't think so. Pretty sure I woulda remembered meetin' you before."

He was still pretty sure that the school was messing with him.

Bart nodded, holding up an orange swan, poking it's wee wings so it seemed to be beating them. "Aren't they cool?"
