2nd Floor Common Room - Wednesday Afternoon

It had taken Dick a half hour to bunny hop from Umbridge's office to the second floor of the dorms. He was breathing pretty heavily by the time he got to the common room and was in desperate need of a soda. Or better yet, a beer.

"I-" *hop* "-am going-" *hop* "-to kill-" *hop* "-that AAAH!"

Luckily Dick fell face first on the couch, not the floor. He decided not to move from that spot because hopping was pretty damn tiring.

Tori, having no workshops today, found herself one floor down and headed for the common room.

"Hey," She was about to smile when she noticed Dick on the couch. "Dick, are you okay?"

"Oh I'm just peachy." came the muffled reply. "I just can't, you know, move my legs."

"What? Why not?" Tori was surprised by that answer. She moved to help Dick, should he want it. She didn't want him to accidentally suffocate due to mobility issues.

With Tori's help, Dick was able to turn himself around so he was laying on his back. "Apparently this is my punishment for radio on Sunday."

"Seriously?!" Tori was pissed now. "I thought I didn't like the temporary principal before, but this just about seals it."

"Dude, I just hope it wears off before class tomorrow." he said. "I'm tired enough from hopping back here."

"I'm sure it will," Tori smiled reassuringly. "Yeah, I imagine it was tough," she admitted. "Is it bad that I'm thinking of giving her a piece of my mind for what she did to you?"

Dick smiled. "I don't think it'll do any good. And you might end up in my position."

"Yeah, you're probably right," Tori hated to admit it, but what Dick had said made sense. "I just wish there was something I could do. I don't like it when people mess with my friends."

"Don't worry about it. A little hopping isn't going to stop me from saying what I want on radio." he says. "I wonder what else she can do to me. She can't kill me, right? I'm pretty sure principals aren't allowed to do that."

"I'm glad to hear that, Dick," Tori grinned. "No, she can't kill you," she attempted to reassure him, though she wasn't totally sure on that one. "They're definitely not allowed to do that. Besides, if she tried? She'd have to deal with a lot of angry people. I doubt she could take us all on at once."

"I'm kind of hoping she pisses off enough people so that they attack." he said.

Hearing the 'AAAH' from her room across the hall, Anemone stuck her head into the common room. "Is everything okay in here? I thought I heard thumping and flailing."

"You did hear it." he said. "I fell over."

"Ouch." She winced in sympathy and came the rest of the way into the room to grab a soda. "Need ice or anything?"

"I'm sure that'll happen sometime in the near future," Tori admitted, having a feeling she'd be one of those people.

Billy, ever in a quest to be more sociable, and possibly to recruit people for Zoe's Browncoats his saturday excursion, wandered into the 2nd floor common room.

"This isn't where I parked my car." Sometimes Billy tried to be funny.
