The Dream Oath Rehearsal, Gym, Sunday Evening

The gym was set up again for rehearsal, and A.J. and Troy were waiting for their cast and techies to show up, with a box of ~~handwavily obtained~~ pastries from JGoB for people to munch on.

"Hey, everyone!" Troy said, smiling, as people finished gathering. "We've got a lot to get done, so we're just going to go ahead and get started, all right?"

[OOC: Up a bit early for sp and timezones and suchlike. A.J. modded in post and comments with permission. Will be back and forth as much as I can to grab pings. ~~Please to be waiting for~~ OCD is up!]

"Okay, to warm up today, we're playing dance tag. Basically, whoever's It starts doing a dance move, and everyone else has to copy that dance move. While going around the floor. You have to keep doing this dance move until the person who's it tags someone else, at which point that person is it and starts doing a new dance move, and it keeps going on until I stop the music and we go on with the rest of the rehearsal." He grinned. "Any questions? No? All right, Andrew, you're It first." Troy started the music.

[For the sake of organisation, I've RNGed you all into an order in which you'll all be It, so you've each got a thread where you're chasing someone else. Feel free to play out the threads in whatever order you need to, don't worry about doing them chronologically. You will all manage to tag the other person eventually, but no modding of whether or not it connects, please; treat this like a battle, let the other person decide how it works out. The game 'ends' when the last person tags the first again.]

"All right, last week we talked about ourselves. This week, I want to know about your characters. You've all read the whole play by now, so you'll have some idea about the characters. What I want to know today before we get started on ~~handwavily~~ running through scenes is what you can tell me about your character that's not in the script."

"Maria's a 23-year-old noblewoman who is separated from the love of her life, believing him dea, and almost forced to marry a conquering prince. What's her favorite colour, and what was her childhood fear?"

"Draco's the 24-year-old prince of a peaceful kingdom who is sent off to war and almost loses his life. He barely makes it back in time to save Maria from marrying Ralse. What does he like to eat, and what job would he have if he weren't a prince?"

"Ralse is a 29-year-old prince from a nearby kingdom who comes along and conquers Draco and Maria's homeland, and then tries to force Maria to marry him. If he could be any modern kitchen tool, what would he be?"

"After seeing his homeland taken over by a conqueror, the chancellor finds his world little changed, for the castle and kingdom must still be run much as before. What is his given name, and what is the one thing he would change if he were to rule the country for a day?"

"You three have probably the least defined characters in the play, so you've got the most to work with. Give me names, ages, and the one thing they'd ask for if offered their hearts' desires."

~~Modded~~ A.J. explained that they were going to see who could get the hang of lighting, and start working through important stuff like how to make people fly .
