Willow was bored. So she took her hedgehog Philbert over to the common room to watch TV.

To her delight, Stage Right was on.

Of course it wasn't on a premium channel, so a lot of the swear words were dubbed. But still!

"You'll like this," she told Philbert. "There's dancing!"

"I've only been the once," Willow admitted. "Granted more time passed there than here, and it's not like we could be open about the relationship. But still. I wanted to impress people."

"Well of course!" Evie nodded emphatically. "But um, whom did they think you were, or what your relationship with Peter was? Simply a good friend from school?"

"I was an Oomian!" Willow said, proudly. "So I got to tell folks all about my people. Beyond that I was a friend of his sister's. Which was also true, though that version of Susan hadn't met me yet."

"Time travel?" Evie asked, having worked through some of these issues before. "And ohhhh. Well, what are the Oomians like, then?" she giggled.

"We're a very nice people," Willow said. "Who are supportive of Hannukkah because I really feel like Narnia could use a little broadening of the horizons of its winter holiday fare."

"Oh, that's very jolly," Evie said approvingly. "Eight days of presents! You're doing them a service, introducing them to the concept. And it's a great responsibility, isn't it?"
