Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday evening

Willow was bored. So she took her hedgehog Philbert over to the common room to watch TV.

To her delight, Stage Right was on.

Of course it wasn't on a premium channel, so a lot of the swear words were dubbed. But still!

"You'll like this," she told Philbert. "There's dancing!"

[ooc: Open!]

Annette shuffled in moving towards the kitchen to search for some ginger ale.

She jumped cause that startled her. She had been in a thought-induced ginger ale trance. Looking over, she waved at Willow. "Hiya."

Annette narrowed her eyes, seeing what was on TV. "Oh. I like that movie. But uh, I just came in for ginger ale if I can find some."

Evie came into the Common Room, muttering to herself distractedly. "Hats. Boots. Oooo, perhaps I should take sunscreen with me... Hullo, Willow." She headed for the microwave, and said, "Popcorn!"

"For two days. Been icky, Willow. And my ribs hurt too cause Dick did the Heimlich on me today. Flu maybe. I don't know." Annette ducked her head into the fridge and pulled out a can of ginger ale. It's like it was just there, waiting for her.

Walking over, but staying far enough away from Willow so she didn't pass her germs. She curled up in a chair and sipped from the can.

"Hmmm? Oh, of course!" Evie popped a bag into the microwave, and said, "Pardon me. I'm trying to pack for my trip home, and I just *know* I'm going to forget something. What are you watching?"

She shook her head. "No. I was afraid to eat today."

"Ooooo! I'm taking that this semester, if I get into the class. Professor Deadpool is teaching it!" Evie took Driver's Ed from him; she'd take class he taught. She pulled the now-popped bag of popcorn out of the microwave, and settled in next to Willow, tilting the bag toward her. "I wish I could dance. But at least Sokka and I have fun when we do so."

Evie waved to Annette, and offered her some popcorn when she sat down. "Hullo? Do you know, I'm certain we've had a class together, but I can't remember your name. I'm Evie."

Annette nodded. A.J. worked there. A.J. saw her throw up. So embarrassing.

"Okay, I will." she said. "How've you been?"

"Hi, Evie," she smiled but waved away the popcorn. "No thank you, I haven't been feeling well. And yeah, we have had a class together but more importantly I see you at Flag Football. I'm Annette."

[identity profile] bookyeve.livejournal.com 2007-08-25 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, wouldn't that be romantic?" Evie said, sighing happily at the idea. "Or perhaps a dramatic declamation, set to music. I could do that. But really, neither of the boys are good for her? That's so sad. One would think that prima ballerinas would have more luck than normal mortals."

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-08-25 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Annette chuckled. "You are excited for classes to start?"

"Oh, of course! I jumped over you a couple weeks ago!" Evie shook her head. "Forgive me. Packing and distraction are not a good combination."

And the mun should have more caffiene, srsly.

Annette grinned, understanding. Her mind has been way preoccupied lately, so she knows the feeling. "That was a great day."

and this mun should go to bed because I srsly forgot about that at football.
