Sabriel had avoided the big meet and greet yesterday. She'd rather not run into any other dead students without warning. It was unnerving. She thought she should do something to welcome the new people though, and was currently in the kitchen, trying to make pancakes and eggs and bacon. The eggs and bacon seemed to be sizzling along happily in their pan, but she was having problems with the pancakes. It would probably have gone better if she had any experience at all in cooking.
