Third Floor Common Room; Saturday Afternoon.

There was a very large Mexican who didn't know who he was trying his best to disappear behind the side of the couch opposite the door, despite the fact that it didn't seem to be working very well.

It might have been best not to ask, but it had a lot to do with the fact that, when he woke up not too long ago, he had woken up to a thing with no hair and great big bulging eyes trying to eat his face.

In the cat's defense, Prince Oscar Pedro Neko-kun (pause) the Third was merely trying to give Chad the usual morning-afternoon greeting, but he didn't seem too bothered when Chad didn't react the usual way, curling up on the bed and going back to sleep as Chad shouted stuff and left for his new, current hiding spot.

And he was determined that no weird naked creature thing was eating his face.

He kept peeking out from behind the couch that wasn't really hiding him at all to begin with, just to make sure it hadn't been following.

Not finding Chad in his room, Teddy went searching for his boyfriend, almost passing by the common room.

That was until he noticed the large Mexican boy trying to hide there.

"Chad?"

Chad didn't know this person, but he looked pretty unscathed and unaffected by hairless monsters, so he figured it was safe to ask this guy. "It's not out there, is it?"

Teddy glanced around the room. Maybe there was a gremlin. "What's not out here?"

"The...thing," Chad said, oh-so-helpfully, gesturing vaguely at his head. "With the...stuff. And without the...y'know."

"Gremlin?" Teddy looked nervous, glancing around more. "Did you get bit by a gremlin?"

"Is that what it was?" Chad grunted, looking over at the other guy a bit hopefully. Clearly, he knew what was going on. "It didn't bite me, but it sure as hell tried. I'm....hiding from it, but if you didn't see it, then maybe it's stuck in the room?"

Teddy gave him a confused look. "Uh... yeah. Are you feeling okay?"

Chad nodded. "Yeah, fine," he answered, admittedly enough, especially since he wasn't entirely concerned over the fact that he had no idea who he was but then, after a moment, added, "Long as that thing stays away."

Dean was still wandering around the place, looking for any of the faces that were in the photos he'd found. No luck so far.

Going down a floor, he wandered the hall and peered into the large room with couches and stuff.

Including a very large dude crouched behind one of the couches.

"Dude, what are you doing?"

"Is Katara around?" Because Teddy didn't want her to be gremlin bit either.

"Hiding," Chad answered.

And, after a pause, he added. "Poorly."

Feeling like it was safe, Chad got up from where he was crouching, moving over to the couch and flopping down onto it. Not even carefully, as indicated by the slight groan from the furniture. His head tilted at the other guy as he got comfortable. "Who's that?"

"Yeah, I was going to point that out." He paused and added, trying for a casual tone. "You wouldn't by any chance recognise me would you?"

Chad was either looking at the other guy very carefully and thinking about it. Or he was just staring off into space. Because some things just never changed. Finally, though, at about the point where it would seem like maybe he'd left the conversation completely and wasn't coming back, he shook his head. "Nope. Sorry."

The girl who now knew that she was Molly wandered in and spotted Chad. "Hi!" she called cheerfully. "Are you playing a game?"

"Um, no," Chad said, nervously trailing his eyes behind where the girl had come in to make sure that thing wasn't following her. "If we are, it isn't a very fun one. I'm trying to hide."

Molly's eyes went wide and she quickly moved to hide behind a nearby chair. "What are we hiding from?" she whispered.

"Ah, well," Dean said with a shrug. "It was a long shot. I'm Alec."

"The weird hairless thing that tried to eat my face a little bit ago," Chad informed her.

"I'm not," Dean said. "Though he might be. Just playing it poorly." He looked at her. Pretty girl, but nope, not jogging any memories. "We... uh... we don't know each other do we?"

"Nice to meet you, Alec," Chad nodded. "I'm..."

He trailed off, realizing that he didn't actually know who he was. He thought for a moment to just make up a name that would be good as any other. Like Vincente. Or Tetsuo. Or Bob. But then he couldn't decide between awesome names and just admitted, "Actually, I'm not really sure who I am."

"That seems to be going around," Dean said. "I only figured out my name because there was stuff in the room I woke up in that had my name and picture on it."

Chad frowned a little. He wished he'd been able to shift through his room for stuff like that, but his room was currently being invaded by a monster. He patted his pockets, but there was nothing in there and then he patted his chest, even though he had no pockets on his shirt...Actually, it just slowly came to him that he wasn't actually wearing a shirt because he apparently didn't sleep with one. He hadn't had time to do anything but escape. Oh! He did have tattoos, though. He took at look at the left one, which was just awesome, with that snake and the wings and that cool language the he wasn't sure he knew or not. And then he looked at the right one. "It says 'Teddy,'" he remarked, head tilting. But that wasn't helpful. Not many people went around tattooing their own name on their body. Unless they were prone to forgetting their name, so they could remember...

"Hey, do you think maybe this happens a lot?"

Teddy just stopped and stared at him. "Your roommate?"

Teddy was just facepalming at the entire situation a lot.

"He's gone crazy." Peeking out from behind his hands, Teddy sighed. Was that Dean or Alec?
