Gym: Flag Football Practice, Sunday Noon

At noon, John went down to the gym to set up flags, footballs, and cones for practice. He figured the students who didn't have family in town would be there and those who did have family would welcome the distraction.

Since last week Willow focused on touchdown dances, John decided this week they'd practice some things to help them actually score touchdowns. Meaning they'd run plays.

Willow was there, making with her note-taking.

She may have also been muttering about how she bet certain older-looking versions of herself with stupid hair would never do something cool like captain a flag football team.

Adam never forgot to stretch, ever. That would be bad.

Sokka stretched. And did some laps. And some touchdown dances.

While he waited for a partner, Sokka practiced throwing the football to himself.

Evie stretched and waved to her brother in the stands, and tried to think of how to introduce Sokka to Jonathan without it turning into a disaster.

Evie tapped him on the shoulder and looked nervous. "Um. Hullo. My brother's here. Would you like to meet him?"

Sokka grinned, and almost kissed her hello, but stopped himself, because, hello, brother.

"You mean for parents' weekend? Yeah, sure! Awesome!" He looked at the audience. "Which one is him?"

Jonathan was a bit hung-over, so he was just quietly boggling in the stands that his clumsy sister was doing sport. Really, who would have thought it was even possible?

Evie pointed over to where Jonathan had his hat drawn down low over his face, legs stretched out across several seats, looking lazy and a little limp. "Over there. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1248060.html?thread=103852348#t103852348) The one who's recovering from strong drink. Again." Never mind that Evie had the same reaction a few weeks ago after Homecoming. It was the priniciple of the thing.

Sokka stared at the man. "Uhhhh.... HE'S your brother? I'm sorry."

"He'll never make a warrior," Evie admitted, fairly certain she understood Sokka's reaction. "But he's my brother, and I love him dearly. All right?"
