The stables: Friday night
It was cold tonight, cold enough that Karal was wrapped in his heaviest cloak as he made a warm mash for Trenor. "You're not nearly shaggy enough for this weather, are you?" he asked as he tipped the mash into Trenor's feed bucket.
Trenor's only response was to bury his nose in his dinner, which could have meant anything, really. Karal leaned on the stall door and scratched under his forelock. "You're going to need at least a blanket, possibly a hood as well," he decided. "These stables are nice enough, but they're not up to the Temple's standards. They're not even heated!"
Trenor snorted, possibly in agreement, possibly because he'd been eating a little too enthusiastically, and Karal tugged affectionately on one of his ears. "Silly horse."
