John was in a great mood when people started arriving for practice. "Okay guys, good news for you. Next week we're having a game! Gold Team versus Blue Team. No holds barred, just keep in mind this is flag football not tackle football," his gaze may have drifted to Willow when he said that. "So, let's make this practice really worth it and get some serious work done!"

He'd set up all the equipment necessary for very thorough skills drills in his excitement for the upcoming game.

It may have helped that he'd gotten a full eight hours of sleep the night before without infant droids to care for.

Adam stretched, properly warming up before they got down to practicing. He was excited for the game next weekend and didn't want to accidentally injure himself.

Dick Casablancas, uh...whatever one John is coaching.

Yasutora Sado. Blue!

Of course Chad stretched. Chad always stretched, because it was important.

John was there with some papers, trying to put together plays for the game.

Evie Carnahan, Gold. If that's the one John coaches.

Evie was thrilled that they'd be playing another game, and stretched and got ready like she'd had three mochas.

Willow was there with her hat and charts and spreadsheets.

Rodney came in with the ~~gay droid babies~~ twins in a dual carrying harness and a laptop bag slung over his shoulder. He settled Bob and Steve on the stands so that they could watch the practice. "There's your other dad," he addressed the twins as he pointed at John. "He's the ~~pretty one~~ athletic one in this family. I'm the brains," he explained to them as if that wasn't already obvious.

They'll make your dreams come true!

OMG THE SONG WILL NOT STOP!

Noticing Rodney and the twins in the audience, John was worried he was going to end up on droid duty again. He was determined not to look in that direction.

Rodney opened up his laptop and was quickly caught up in his work. If he noticed that John seemed to be ignoring him, he figured it was because he didn't want to make the twins start crying in the middle of practice.

Not that Rodney noticed.

Payback's a bitch. :D

John was ignoring the fact that the twins weren't crying for Rodney. If he paid attention to that, he would get annoyed, and he was not going to get annoyed on such a pleasant afternoon.
