There are far stranger sights than a young man, reading in the common room, with a small fluffy bunny on his chest nibbling at a carrot.

When you take into account that the young man in question is the ever-shy Liir, that he's reading a text on channeling magic, and that the small fluffy bunny on his chest is his boyfriend...

Still stranger sights, of course, but only in Fandom.

That said, despite the fact that he was rather distressed (well, as distressed as one can be when one is presented with an adorable fluffy bunny to cuddle and care for) at Andrew's transformation, there are cookies out on the tables and from the smell in the air, he'd made them earlier this morning so they're still fresh and warm.

Stained glass, hazelnut with dark chocolate, and a new one he'd found: orange cranberry drops.

Ino was bored. So she wandered. Thus, when Ino spotted Liir... well, there was a grinning little sister sneakily creeping up behind him to cover his eyes with her hands.

Sky smelled cookies when coming back from a late-morning run, so he peeked into the third floor common room to see who was baking.

Ino wasn't baking, but she was around. "Morning!" Ino said cheerily.

"Hey, Ino," said Sky, smiling at her. "Having a good break so far?"

"It's been fun," she said, with a shrug. "Though it's really quiet around here with so many people gone. What about you? How're you doing?"

Sky thought about what he and Troy had done last night and nodded, going a little red.

"I've been having a good break, too," he said. "It is quiet- and boring- with everybody gone, but it's nice to relax, too. Of course, I still have to work on Friday..."

"That good, yeah?" She grinned. "I worked yesterday, so yeah, totally understand. And I suppose a bit of boring isn't bad, since I already got to go somewhere for break. But still, I'm always a little creeped out when it gets quiet like this." Ino liked knowing there were people around.

"I wouldn't mind working so much if it weren't for the fact that I have to wear a banana suit," he said, then nodded agreement. "Yes, fandom being quiet just doesn't seem right, somehow. I thought about going to Mexico with everybody else, but I decided to stay here. Glad I did, because my boyfriend stayed behind, too."

"A banana suit?" Ino asked in an 'Oh really?' sort of voice. "Boyfriend-age is always good, yes. I didn't even know about the trip 'til the night before, so no going for me." Ino shrugged a bit. "It might've been fun, but I've got plans for Friday that wouldn't have worked." Because Kabuto totally wouldn't have gone to Mexico, even if she'd asked him to.

"Yeah. I work for Bluth's banana stand, and Mr. Manager asked me to wear the suit for every shift. And, you know, he's my boss, so I'm just doing what he asks me to, though it is embarrassing." He sighed, then went redder when thinking of Troy again. "Boyfriends are really good. I'm surprised he didn't go, actually. I would've gone if he did, but otherwise, it didn't really sound like my kind of thing."

"I'll have to visit," Ino said, trying to supress a grin. "Not the sort for beaches?" Mexico had beaches, right? Ino was kinda hazy on the whole Earth geography thing.

Sky gave her the thumbs-up. "I'm there all day on Friday if you'd like to stop by, then. I'd like the company." He nodded. "I'm not big on beaches, nah. I also don't know too many people here yet, so..."

"Maybe I will," she said, smiling. "But this Friday, well, I'll have to see. Probably though, if I go early."

"Can you cook?" Ino asked. "'Cause I've heard that being able to cook and doing it frequently in the common rooms is a great way to meet people. Or you could just follow your nose and get to know the people that are the ones doing the cooking."

"The stand opens at handwavey, so yeah, I'll be there if you can make it." He then shook his head to her question. "No. I never learned how to cook, since I come from the future, and we've mostly got synthesizers to make food for us. I've heard a bunch of times that that is the best way to meet people, though- and it does work. Smelling cookies was the whole reason I came to look in here to begin with, actually."

"They're done," he said quietly from behind the spine of his book. "You're welcome to one or as many as you like."

Scritch scritch the bunny. The bunny is obviously well-loved.

"Which is a perfectly good reason to show up!" Ino grinned. "I was just wandering myself, I got bored with being in my room and talking to Annette's cat." She wrinkled her nose cheerfully. "I'm totally on pet-sitting duty."

"I bet you could find someone to teach you how," she suggested. "If you wanted to learn to cook, I mean. Just not me, I can cook, but yeah, I don't really like doing it so..."

He didn't startle. Instead, he smiled and rolled his eyes behind her hands.

"The cookies are on the table, you know."

"Thanks," said Sky, picking up one of each to try before approaching Liir. "I don't think we've ever met before. I'm Sky Tate, I live up on the 4th floor."

"But there's a bunny on your chest," Ino pointed out. "And the bunny is way cuter than the cookies."

The book was put down, closed, but the bunny was not.

"Liir," he said quietly, trying to figure out what was familiar about this boy since they really hadn't met. There was something about him that was ringing distant bells at the corner of his brain.

"316. I don't go to the fourth floor much."

Sky chuckled. "I was coming back from a run, myself," he replied. "I'm trying to keep in shape, since Fandom makes it kind of hard for me to eat healthy. I have had several people offer to teach me how to cook, yeah, I just... haven't taken them up on it yet. It took me a while to realize how useful it could be." That was mostly true.

He sighed, just a little, and scritched the bunny, who responded by rubbing his chin on Liir's finger.

"The bunny is absolutely adorable," he agreed. "He's also Andrew."

"Nice to meet you, Liir," said Sky, sensing that the other boy was a little uncomfortable, so he took a bite of each cookie he'd taken and said, "Mmmm. You made this cookies, I assume? They're good." He then looked down at the bunny, smiling. "Who's the bunny? Is he a pet?"

"I did a bit of training this morning." Ino grinned at him. "But there's only so much you can do before that gets boring too. You should take them up on it," she said. "People here don't bite. Mostly."
