Second Floor Common Room - Sunday Morning

Meg felt kind of guilty that she had skipped out on all the Easter festivities and hadn't even thought of going to church until this morning. She figured that if she made breakfast for everybody this morning then maybe God would forgive her for being such a horrible Catholic girl.

Which would be why she was in the kitchen this morning making pancakes. The local classic rock station was playing in the background and Meg was dancing around to .38 Special.

[So totally open]

Ino, coming back downstairs after her lesson with Liir and planning to head out down to town soon, but the smell of food caught her attention and she poked her head around the door.

"Nice dancing," she said cheerfully.

"Does it really?" Ino's smile widened. "I'll admit that it certainly looks like it makes cooking more fun."

"I'll have to try it the next time I cook," she said, "because cooking is so not my favourite thing to do."
intraspective: (giggling)

"I garden when I'm bored," and not just when she was bored, "to me, food is just food so I don't really get why so many people like cooking it." Ino wrinkled her nose cheerfully. "But I'm more than happy to eat it."

Not that she ate much, but still. If she didn't have to cook then it was all good.

Ino grinned. "At least you can be assured around here that someone will always wind up coming by at some point and eating it, no matter how much you make."
intraspective: (huh?)

Ino kinda blinked. "It's a holiday today?"
intraspective: (Just a smile)

"I'm... just going to go with the eating chocolate, I think," Ino said dubiously, "but why in the shape of bunnies?"
intraspective: (temperance)

"Well, at least bunnies make sense as that sort of a symbol." Ino laughed.

After talking her dog for his morning walk, Hoshi noticed that someone cooking on the second floor. So after she stashed the dog in her room, she came back to the common room, droid baby in tow, to get some breakfast.

"This is Reizo Sato-Roberts, and basically, he's my homework assignment for Ethics," said Hoshi.
intraspective: (huh?)

It was rather crazy. But Ino was... getting used to not understanding the reasoning behind holidays here. Didn't mean she wasn't going to question it though.

"So... you eat the bunnies, but hunt down the eggs? What's with the difference?"
intraspective: (confidence)

"Hah," Ino said, glancing at the droid, "that's totally from Ethics class. Hey, Hoshi."

Says the girl who'd gone through the same thing last semester.

"Hey Ino. How are you doing?" asked Hoshi. She'd heard the radio from the other night, but wasn't sure if she should say anything unless Ino mentioned it first.

Ino was... so not going to mention it. Not to Hoshi. Not to anyone but a very select group of people. Yes.

"Me?" Ino blinked, "I'm doing alright, I guess. How about you?"
