Fourth Floor Common Room, evening

It's best not to ask where Marco had spent most of his weekend. Most of his clothes and half his room was covered in mud. But Marco didn't want to take a bath, so he figured a different way to get clean quickly. Which is why there was a baby polar bear in the common room, jumping up on all the furniture.

Brooke was wondering what was going on downstairs now that she was all prettified with makeup (most of which had been wiped or worn off by now), and she'd expected to see more kids.

So she stood at the doorway with her jaw dropped, thinking this was the coolest ever and hoping it didn't bite her.

The second floor was being too boring to Turtle.

Other floors were being too boring for Turtle.

The fourth floor, however, had a bear in it. This was definitely not boring.

< TURTLE! > Marco thought speaked at her. Kind of loudly. He jumped off of the couch and ran over to poke at her.

Marco ran over to Brooke from where he was on the table and stopped a few inches away from her.

Turtle let out a little shriek and almost started running away, because the bear was totally going to attack her, holy crap!, but then she realized that she'd heard...someone saying her name and stopped a moment and considered the situation.

"Marco!" she amended her first shout of greeting. "Hi! You should keep that look; you're much much cuter like that."

Well, he looked cute and friendly, and he was small so he had to be little too. A little nervously, she raised a hand and waved. "Hi."

Liz was on her way back to her room on the fifth floor when she noticed what was in the fourth floor common room and stopped and stared with wide eyes.

"Oooh," she said with great interest at what was in there.

< Am not! > Marco said. He would have pouted if polar bears could pout.

< Hi! > Marco though-spoke at her and panted cheerfully at her.

"Totally are; you look like a cute little teddy bear!"

Marco ran over to the girl, stopping short of knocking her over.

< An' as a boy! > Marco informed her, sitting down on his back paws.

"Hi!" Brooke said again in surprise, and decided since she didn't think she'd get her hand bitten off so they'd have to call the emergency room she could reach out a hand to pet him.

"Nuh uh," Turtle said, shaking her head, "'cause boys are gross."

Marco let himself be petted before he started bouncing in place.

Liz giggled and hesitantly raised a hand out, wondering if it'd be okay to pet him.

She giggled, never knowing that polar bears could bounce. "You're funny," she decided, because she was easy like that and he was the cutest thing ever.
