Centaurus Campfire - Monday Late Afternoon

After Demyx and Naminé disappeared, Sora had been avoiding people but with everyone moved into the cabins and classes starting again, he couldn't really do that anymore.

He had to think on the brightside anyways there was always a chance that he'd see them again!! His world was funny like that at times.

Sora was happily poking at the capefire outside with fish roasting on sticks like he would do back on the beach at home. It really made it feel like summer for him.

"Oh, cool, we're cooking over an open flame," said Hoshi, taking a seat at the campfire.

"Yeah!" Sora smiled brightly, nevermind that it was the only thing or way he could really cook. "Feel free to grab on, I think that one near you is almost done."

"Thanks. I'm Hoshi, by the way," she said, checking the fish closest to her.

"I'm Sora," he smiled back. "Are you in this cabin?"

Yeah, so he hadn't really met anyone in the cabin yet and he might have felt a little embarassed about it.

"I am," said Hoshi. "I'm in B4, but I haven't met anyone else from the cabin yet. It took a lot longer to move my stuff than I thought it would."

"I'm in A4," he grinned. "Yeah, I moved over really late last night so I didn't really get a chance to meet anyone either. "I heard that there were a bunch of newbies and stuff at the school too."

"Yeah, I met some of them on Friday," said Hoshi. "It feels weird moving into the cabins when I finally got a new roommate."

"Really?" Sora asked continueing to smile as he poked at one of the fish in front of him and winced.

Yes Sora, fire make fish hot.

"Is your new roomie nice? I haven't had a roomie for a while, but I miss my old one."

"Her name is Hinata and she's a little shy, but she's really sweet," said Hoshi. "My old roommate was nice, too, but she left in December and it's been kind of lonely since then."

Lonely.... "Yeah."

Sora shook his head and forced a smile, he wasn't going to get all mopey again. "Yeah, I think that's when my roomie left too, I had two really close friends just leave a few weeks ago too. I'm glad your new roomie is nice though! I mean that's really good.."

Yeah, even he could tell that was kind of a lame thing to say.

It didn't sound so lame to Hoshi.

"A couple of my friends just graduated too, and one of them is gone for the whole summer," said Hoshi. "I'm really going to miss them."

"Yeah, but you'll see them again," Sora smiled and turned some of the fish over for them to cook evenly. "Right?"

"Yeah," said Hoshi, smiling in return. "I work at the hotel, and it'll be nice to actually recognize some of the alumni when they show up for homecoming."

"Did a lot of people show up?" he asked trying to think back to homecoming. "It seems like it was so long ago."

"There were a lot of them, but I didn't know any of them last time," said Hoshi.
