Second Floor Common Room, Monday Afternoon
After getting back from teaching Mike's Karaoke class, Troy settled down in the common room. He'd been too nervous to eat before class, so he was rather starving now.
The Tim Tams weren't so bad, he decided, after having opened a box of those.
The vegemite, he decided, was.
Anyone who stopped by the common room? Was likely to see Troy rushing around, trying to find anything to get the taste out of his mouth.

It was obvious, really, that he wasn't but...

He holds out a cup of sweet black and herbal tea he'd brought from Oz as well as a large chocolate chip and sour cherry cookie.
...he'd just been walking down to enjoy some things on the grass, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

*handwaves Troy being dumb enough to try the vegemite again*Troy grabbed the tea and the cookie, swallowed the cookie in three bites, and downed the tea in four long swallows. "Thanks," he said. "Whatever you do? Don't try the vegemite."

"The what--oh, that? I found it in my pantry this morning." His lips quirked to the side.
"Might be useful in very spare doses, but I wouldn't want to have much in anything."
A hand to his bag found another set of three cookies.
"Here, if you need them. Or just liked them. I figure you're hungry if you tried an unknown substance in any quantity."

"Nice to meet you, though I believe we might have seen each other previous. Just a passing remark, though, no names."
no subject
"Which would explain why you look vaguely familiar," he said, nodding. He took a bite of one of the other cookies. "These are really good," he added. "You make them?"

His hand rested on the end of the handle that jutted out from the quiver strapped around his waist.

He nodded towards the couches.
"May I sit? I was heading for the lawn to attempt to be 'social' while the good mood was still over me but I'd rather not if I've found someone willing to talk to me here."

"Well, it's not my common room. I always feel oddly when I'm in another floor's common room."

He shifted his weight, just slightly, mostly unconsciously, but it opened him up to Liir maybe a little bit more, and his leg moved to brush against the other boy.

Kiba would be laughing, she knew. Hinata merely smiled. "W-Was there a-anything in particular y-you wanted to know i-if I could do?"
no subject
"Incredibly. Hence why I carry around baked goods. It's much easier to meet people without having to talk overmuch when you fill their mouths."

Was that Troy's foot, bumping a bit against Liir's?

He didn't mind, so he didn't move.
He closed his eyes and leaned back on the couch.
"The karaoke class... were you the TA last semester? A friend of mine took the course."

He didn't know where the rest of that was or what it was, really. Hence not commenting.

He had no idea of how the theatre worked.

Liir is somewhat confusing until you learn what he means half the time.
