Helen was bored. Bored, bored, bored. As annoying as the priests and the constant studying had been, at least it had taken up almost every minute of her time. Here? Well, she found she had far too much time on her hands and somehow had become far too shy, surprisingly, to go looking for any one who might alleviate some of that boredom.

So instead she was sprawled on a couch in the common room, grumpily watching some show where people tracked down killers. Though, she had to admit the older man was rather attractive.

Angela poked her head in the door, looking for anything or anyone that might be potentially interesting.

She paused, lingering for a moment as she looked at what was on the television. "Ew," she declared a moment later. Crime procedurals were rarely pretty.

Helen turned her head, raising an eyebrow at her. "Ew?"

"That," Angela clarified quickly, pointing to the TV as she moved into the room. "Murders, ew. At least, that's my assesment."

"It's just death," Helen said. "At least they are trying to find a killer and not just leaving the bodies to rot as is done in war."

Angela pulled a face. "Okay, point," she allowed. "But I stand by my 'ew'."

"What is this you're watching anyway?" she asked, settling down. It being nasty looking didn't stop her from making the most of the company she'd found.

Helen shrugged. "I don't know the names of any of them or most of the cultural references, so..."

"Oh, right..." Angela paused, thinking back to her last chat with Helen. "Your world is one of the really different ones, isn't it." Being fifteen years out of her depth was starting not to seem so bad.

"At least they make up for all the death with attractive investigators," she remarked.

"Quite different from this one in many ways," Helen agreed. "But... I believe I am adjusting."

She nodded at Angela's other statement. "Yes, the older one in particular, I feel."

Liz decided that she didn't want to spend that evening in her room so she went down the hall to see if there was anyone in the common room, "hey," she said as she entered.

Helen looked up. "Hello," she said.

Liz smiled, "how's it going?" she asked.

Helen shrugged. "Well enough, I suppose. And you?"

"There is something about certain older men," Angela mused, looking at the screen. "And the solving crime thing, kinda hot."

"Intelligence and experience can be very attractive," Helen agreed.

Liz nodded, "I've been going okay," she said.

Angela waved across the room at her as she came in. "Hi."

Yes, that did feel just a little bit weird after living in her body twenty-four hours.

"Good," Helen said. "We are watching some show about solving murders. You are most welcome to join us."

Angela hummed her assent. "But they just dont show up often enough outside of the television."

Helen nodded. "There ought to be something we could do to change that. Though... there are several teachers who are quite... fascinating."

"Really?" Angela arched an eyebrow. She had Mr. Cullen, firmly on her list. But he barely looked older than they did, so he hardly counted as 'older man hot'.

"Which ones?" she asked curiously.

"Come to watch the pretty crime solving team do their thing?" she asked with a grin.

"And the men are quite attractive."

"Ronan Dex, Mr. Winchester, Mr. Bond..." Helen shrugged. "They're all physically attractive and quite intelligent."
