4th Floor Common Room [Sunday, Late Morning]

It was less than a week to homecoming - which was on her birthday, no less - and Angela was on the lookout for two things; a dress and a date.

Right now, she was starting on the easier of the two, by flicking through the latest issue of Cosmo for fashion ideas while she ate her breakfast. The television was on but she was largely ignoring whatever was showing. Sunday morning TV was usually hardly anything to be worried about missing.

There wasn't anything good in Peyton's common room so she wandered up a floor. "Hey, how's it going?"

"Just discovering how expensive it is to look good," Angela said, smiling over at Peyton.

"Morning."

"Dress shopping?" Peyton asked. "I always end up in some odd vintage-y thing. Not that I do the dressing up thing all that much."

Angela nodded. "Isn't really much need for it when you're in high school, unfortunately."

"I could spend a lot of money in my head," she told Peyton.

"I'm kind of more comfortable in my jeans and a shirt," Peyton admitted. "And I could spend a lot of money in my head too, but it would mostly be on music."

"So what's the occasion?"

"We have homecoming soon," Angela reminded her. "I'm just getting some ideas in before it sneaks up on me."

"Reading anything interesting?" Ichigo asked from the doorway. Probably because he hadn't noticed yet which magazine Angela was reading.

Peyton winced. "Homecoming, yeah. Damn."

Angela held up her magazine with a grin. "Very."

If it happened to have something about 'How to be a sex goddess!' on the front. Well...

"Not a fan of school events?" Angela asked, catching that face she pulled.

He actually wasn't all that familiar by Cosmo, but the title articles helped. "I'm not going to ask," he decided as he wandered into the common room and plopped down on the couch.

"Looking at dresses," Angela clarified. She flipped back a few pages to what she'd been looking at before. "Or, getting ideas, anyway."

He was up to say hello to Amber, but when he noticed someone in the common room, he gave them a wave.

As all things concerning girls, Ichigo was rather clueless about dresses. "For next week?" he guessed.

Angela waved back, with the hand she wasn't using to eat.

"Morning," she greeted, grinning at him.

"Morning," he said in reply walking over as was only polite.

"It is homecoming," she said, grinning at him broadly. "Finding the right dress is half the point of the whole thing."

"At least, that's what I've always been told. I'm beginning to think it might be impossible, though."

"I wouldn't know," he said honestly. "We don't really do Homecoming in Japan," he paused. "I tend to not wear dresses either, but I'm sure whatever you come up with will be good."

"There's fresh coffee in the pot if you want some," she offered. "And bad morning television."

"Aw, I think you could look great in a frilly pink number," Angela teased. "We'll Americanize you into the Homecoming tradition in no time."

That got her a glare. "Try and I won't be held responsible for my actions," he threatened.

"No, it's just... the whole finding a date thing and... everything," Peyton said.

He looked at the coffee dubiously.

"Best not to feed me coffee if you don't want to peel me off the ceiling. I don't think we've even ever exchanged names."

A glance at the television had him wondering.

"How bad?"

Somehow, Angela wasn't too worried by Ichigo's threats. She just shrugged. "Just a suggestion."

"Have you at least thought of getting yourself a date?"

"Very bad," Angela told him. Well, there was a reason she was reading instead.]
