The Range - Girls With Guns [Wednesday afternoon]

Triela was sitting less comfortably than usual as people showed up for the club. This was probably due to the fact that she was wearing a dress, which wasn't something she had done in Fandom before.

Priscilla wasn't a handler, but she was technically an authority figure within the Agency. Her idle suggestion wasn't an order, either. Those two things combined in a way that meant Triela could have fought off the compunction to wear a dress to club, but she'd woken up with some serious nausea, and she knew that fighting her programming would push her over the edge.

So there she sat in a simple white sundress looking oddly out of place and apparently unconscious of the cold.

Triela may be a bit distracted. Dresses aren't really her thing.

At least when she's shooting Triela can forget the dress thing.

Ha! Finally an excuse to push Triela out of her comfort zone. Huzzah PW!

Turtle went about her usual routine of looking the gun over and making sure everything was to par before setting out toward the range.

Normally Triela would wave and initiate a conversation.

Unfortunately was a bit distracted. Stupid dress.

Turtle hadn't noticed the dress; not really, anyway. It looked nice, and it seemed an odd choice for gun club attire, but, beyond that, a dress was a dress.

She did, however, notice Triela's off mood and, frowning, wondered about what it might be about. Considering what last weekend was, she started to formulate an idea, and wasn't sure whether to say anything, but, once her gun was prepped, she thought she should at least say hi.

"Hi, Triela."

Triela's head jerked up. It wasn't often she was unaware of someone nearby. "Oh, hey, Turtle."

That definitely didn't seem right. Turtle's concerned frown deepened a little.

"Bad weekend?" she guessed, quietly.

"No, actually," Triela blinked. Then she shook her head. "I ended up with a visitor, but it was actually good to see Priss again."

She cocked her head, "Why do you ask?"

"Let's just say," Turtle said, "that you look like the last thing you need to be doing right now is firing a weapon. You look a bout a million miles away."

"Oh," Triela sighed. "It's this." She pinched some of the fabric of her dress between her fingers and tugged it uncomfortably. "I'm not really used to dresses."

"Why are you wearing one to gun club, anyway?"

Naomi got out her phaser but she also mingled before she went to practice shooting.

Another sigh. "Priss suggested it. And while that doesn't technically count as an order, I've found that it's generally easier on me if I just go along with suggestions from anyone at the Agency. Otherwise I get nauseous."

Triela would normally have at least said hi, but she was more than a little distracted.

Turtle, as usual, was shooting a few well-focused rounds toward the target. It was pretty easy for her now, which would always settle a little uncomfortably in her stomach.

"Suggested to wear it to gun club?" Turtle asked. "For what purpose?"

Jack was a bit less-than-bouncy himself, but he did notice that..."You're in a dress."

Yes, if there were a Superhero Button Award Ceremony at that moment, he would have earned the Captain Obvious button.
