Really, it was not a good sign when things had reached this level.
Cal had made sure that, when he stalked to the common room to steal the TV, that it was done in a way that no one (hopefully) would notice him throwing the remote way back under the couch, out of sight, out of mind, and giving partial truth to his defense that if anyone asked why he was watching Rumor Gal right now, it was because the remote seemed to have disappeared, that was what the TV was on, and he was too comfortable already to bother looking for it. He even had Self-Defense club as an excuse for feelingle tired.
Fail-proof. Had to be. And all the while, he got to revel in the guilty pleasure.
