With the Valentine's Dance a few days away, Lee found a spot in the lobby to set up to sell tickets. The tickets themselves were even pink with a heart on them, aw. Hey, you had to keep up with the times and be topical. The table itself even had a rose in a vase just to make it seem even more Valentines-y. Or whatever.

Lee was behind the table, not wearing anything Valentines-y. He was just glad he wasn't punching everything in sight anymore, really.

On his way to work, Toby stopped at Lee's table with his newspaper. Oh the pride.

"Dude, did you see how awesome I am?"

"I read it this morning," Lee said, grinning widely. "It's a great article. I hope Professor Skywalker buys copies for his entire family."

"Me too! I should send one to that nice kid of his from the Ewok planet!" Toby enthused. "Also, excellent writing on the V-Day!"

"You should! And hey, thanks," Lee said, grinning. "Not that I'll be celebrating hugely this year but I figured getting the word out and hoping others don't frak their holidays up would be my good deed for the month."

"You goin' to the dance?" Toby wondered, still unsure about it himself.

"Haven't decided," he said, shrugging. "I might come just because of the StuCo stuff but if I don't, no skin off my back."

"Yeah, it's not like I've got anyone to find a dark corner with," Toby sighed. Oh and really, hello there terrible homecoming memories.

"Maybe I'll like, make some fondue and chillax for the night."

"Hey, me either," he reminded Toby. "And it's not like we could find a dark corner with each other unless we were just talking. What's fondue?"

Boo talking. "Ohmigod! Fondue is this hot cheese or chocolate that you dip stuff in, like bread or cake or brownies. It's totes amazing."

"I've never had it," he said but it did sound good. "You cook it?"

"Dude, I am like a chef," Toby informed him. "I can cook anything."

"Hey, if we decide to not go to the dance, we could always cook things in one of the common rooms," he suggested.

"Dude, I am so on top of that," Toby grinned. "We can have our own night, free from coupledom and their pink hearts." Stupid hearts.

"Yeah, I wish it were something a little more masculine than pink," he said. "Which reminds me, I gotta remember to order flowers."

"Ooh, who are you sending flowers to?" Toby asked.

Robin came by to get two tickets to the dance. Optimistic isn't he.

"A few people here but I've gotta do an outside place for flowers to Adah," he said.

"Buying tickets?" Lee asked when he noticed Robin at the table.

"Aww, how cute are you?" Toby teased.

"Very cute," Lee said and buffed his nails on his shirt. "Cuter than everyone else."

"Dude, you are so not cuter than me," Toby argued. "But I know your g-iiirl thinks you are!"
