Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Tonight was the World War I flashback episode with a hot guest star, lots of time in the trenches and enough homoerotic subtext to keep Mason's fangirls squeeing for weeks. Plus, of course, Lee Nicholas, who would be shirtless for at least one scene, if Tony remembered right. Poor James Taylor Grant. He would keep getting those flesh wounds in the torso area.

Tony had a bowl of popcorn and a can of pop and was in his usual spot on the couch in the common room to watch Darkest Night.

Dinah padded down a floor, wearing huge pajamas and a bathrobe after a long shower to deal with all her new bruises. No Merlin in the room, so.... "Hey. Did I miss anything yet?"

And not too long after Tony came Firekeeper and Blind Seer, who settled in to their usual spot as well.

"Tony," she greeted with a smile. "You have fun on the ship?"

"Lee Nicholas naked," Tony deadpanned.

"It was awesome! I'm sorry you didn't come. Did you have fun back here?" Tony asked.

"Much," Firekeeper nodded seriously. "I am sorry to be missing the other fun, but not sorry I miss it on a boat."

"No!" Dinah gasped, then looked at him more closely. "Tonyyyy..."

"Blysse! Blind Seer, hi, how've you been?" Dinah asked, pleased to see them. "I brought some postcards back from the trip for you. And a hat!" She grinned at Blind Seer. "Not one for you, though."

Eric wandered into the common room, bored out of his mind.

"Oh, hey," he said, as he caught what was on TV. "This is the show with the hot detective guy, right? And the vampire with all the homoerotic subtext?"

"Hey, Dinah," Eric greeted, with a smile. "You look comfy."

"Postcard? What is?" Firekeeper asked curiously. Blind Seer let out the smallest of growls at the 'hat' comment, cutting off abruptly at the clarification that it wasn't for him. "He say thank you for not bringing him a hat," Firekeeper translated dutifully. "And we have beened well. Quiet was nice, for a time."

"I am very very comfy." Also covered up; they might be pajamas, but Dinah had shown more skin at the gym. "To cushion my new bruises from today's work-out. How are you settling back in here?"

Dinah held up her fingers to show the size of the postcard. "Little photos of the places we went, so you can put them up in your room if you want. I figured they'd get here after I got back if I mailed them. And you're welcome, Blind Seer," Dinah grinned. "I always think those dogs wearing hats look silly, so I figured you'd hate it."

"Pretty well," Eric said, "although I must admit I'm kinda missing some parts of the cruise." He blushed a bit. "Dojima and I went dancing, and I, uh, met a guy..."

Tony snorted. "I wish!"

"It was so big, it was hardly like being on a boat at all," Tony said.

"I have beened on big boats," not cruise ship big, but it's not like she even knew what a cruise ship was. "It was not good."

"Me too." Dinah grinned at him. "Well, I didn't think he was really naked. Body-stocking naked. Body-double naked." Okay, she'd hoped. It was Canadian! It could happen!

"It's Darkest Night," Tony said. "Though I think all the vampire shows have homoerotic subtext. I mean, it's totally a metaphor for repressed sexuality."

"Merlin try to say he should wear clothes, once," Firekeeper rolled her eyes. "He not like that idea much."

"Yeah, I suppose that could happen," Tony admitted. "But it didn't. Unfortunately. He's shirtless a little later, though."

Dinah's face fell a little, then she have a small smile. "Kidding, hunh?" She shook her head at Blind Seer. "Merlin's sneaky."

"Mostly it was just swimming and drinking," Tony said. "Which you can do here, too." Minus the snorkeling and glass-bottomed boat and whirlpools and warm weather...

He rather thought that said enough.

The change of expression was not lost on Firekeeper. You didn't survive in the wild without learning how to be observant of your surroundings, after all. "Was there something bad that happen, with him and you?" she asked, concerned.
