"Ah-hah! You vile flying beast! I shall dispatch you and your friends to the nether regions of this world where you may cease to--" An egg plopped on his head.

"Oooh! You nasty villainous creature!" He wacked one harpy to the ground with his wooden sword. "Take that you worthless piece of--" Claws dug into his right puffy-sleeved arm.

"Ahhh, foul beast!" He tore it off him and flung the beast over the side of the building. "Queen Narissa has unleashed her demon spawn, I see! I shall best you all, you feeble brained--" Plop plop plop.

GASP!

"You... you... wasted yourselves on me! How utterly vile and smelly! You shall all pay! PAY I SAY!"

Prince Edward bounded here and there, prancing as he smacked, stabbed, poked, and prodded each and every harpy that got close to him.

And yet more still came.

"Ahhhhh, sweeeet Andalasia! But where are you all coming from?! Beasts! One and all!" And yet Prince Edward was infallible and contiued on, hacking and taking down as many as he could.

"The peasants shall roast you for supper!"

Romeo went to the weapons locker for his gun after class, then climbed up to the roof.

When he spotted Edward, he went and took a nearby post. His hand was only shaking a little as he took his first shot at a harpy, wounding it in the thigh. It started shrieking abuse at him, and he went to finish the job as he turned to Edward. "Have you been at this long?"

After class, She-Ra and Swifty had flown a circuit over the island, attempting to warn the harpy away with insults and shiny swords. When that had failed to dissuade them from flinging goo at her, she'd headed back to the dorms in hope of protecting those who needed it.

Spotting people on the roof, she cried out, "Down Swift Wind!" and proceeded to land her magnificent winged unicorn. "Could you use some assistance, friend?"

"Greetings!" he beamed, despite his current situation with the stabbing and poking. "I believe I have, though I have not kept count of the many I've dispatched!"

"Greeti--" Prince Edward nearly swallowed his own tongue when he spied the magnificent woman and the creature she rode upon.

"I... yes! If you'd like!"

"It's both my duty and my pleasure," She-Ra assured him, dismounting in a flash to join him. "The skies are full of Hunga's minions this afternoon, and yet I've seen no sign of her or her evil magic."

"I don't think I'd want to go at them with a sword," Romeo claimed, neatly shooting another harpy through the forehead. "It's a bit close, and I would hate to have to look at them so. You look comfortable with it, though."

"Ah-hah! A sword is my weapon of choice, but I admire your skill with the pistol!" He struck a post and stabbed one in the wing, twirled it, and sent it flying over the edge of the roof.

He gave her an odd look that had nothing to do with how beautiful she was. "Hunga's minions? But these creatures are the work of Queen Narissa's evil plan to thwart me and my plan to marry!" A beat. "When I had a plan, that is."

"I've never learned to use one," Romeo admitted, enviously watching Edward's ballet with the harpy.

One came at him, claws out; he dropped to the roof itself until it seemed to be past.

"Oh?" She-Ra considered what he was saying. "So, perhaps these harpy are the work of both, or the work of neither!"

He looked over and bounded towards Romeo with all intent and purpose and made a flying dash to stab the offensive beast that swooped past the dropped boy.

"Never fear! I shall keep the clawed devils from your person! I have slain it! You are free, ah-hah!" But there were still more and Prince Edward happily went about trying to destroy those as well.

"I shall kill Queen Narissa for this dreadful attack upon my person!"

"Yes! Perhaps!" he agreed with obvious merriment. "But I shall dispatch Queen Narissa no matter, for she is a cruel evil hag."

He paused in his stabbing quest to turn to her and sweep her an elegant bow. "I am Prince Edward of Andalasia!"

Romeo rose to his feet, wiping (smearing, really) a bit of goo off his back. He took cover near a chimney. "You know who's behind this, then?"

"I'm afraid I do," he replied. Of course he thought he knew. "She is truly wicked and do you not set your eyes upon her you'll be better for it."

"Prince Edward, I am She-Ra. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she said with a happy nod. "From the looks of things here, Queen Narissa is going to have her work cut out for her going against you."

A harpy circled over Romeo's head; he shot straight up, trying not to look at how the head rocketed back on impact. "How do you know such a one?"

He blushed scarlet at her compliment. "Why thank you, my lady She-Ra! I shall endeavor to do my best and rid all of Andalasia of her evil, wicked ways. Where are you from that I wonder why you feel these creatures are here on your behalf?"

Ew. That was somewhat nasty. "She is my step-mother I hate to admit."

Woe.

"But I shall prevail! Ah-hah!"

An evil stepmother? Romeo's lip curled sympathetically. "You look like you will," he said encouragingly as he reloaded.

"I'm of Etheria," She-Ra replied. "A world populated with many different evils, Hunga and her Harpys being but one of them." As she spoke, She-Ra raised her sword to bat away a rotten piece of fruit before it could mark her gorgeous white mini uniform. The fruit hit the harpy who'd thrown it, sending her plummeting to the ground below.

"Thank you," he beamed. "Might I ask where you learned to shoot such a weapon? Was it here at this school?"

"Many different evils? I cannot imagine such a place." He stood captivated while she used her sword; captivated more by her mini white uniform.

He blinked. Swallowed. And looked away just as another egg plopped on his head.

"Ahhh, these creatures must die!" He swung his sword, thwacking a couple to soar at least a hundred feet away, only to fall to their death below.

Poor Edward had seen that very same body in far less, but the low voice and and mini skirt of She-Ra was enough to confound most any man who wasn't expecting it.

"I fear it is a case of us or them," She-Ra announced, stepping up to where she could continue her interesting sort of baseball game with the harpys.

Romeo shook his head. "We all carry them, at home," he said. "I learned to shoot when I was small."

And he certainly hadn't been expecting it. Though he desperately tried not to stare.

"Together we shall prevail, my lady! For we are much stronger and skilled with our swords, yes?"
