Gym, Friday After Classes

The gym was decorated in festive blue and gold for the auction the cheerleaders were holding.

There was happy, bouncy music playing as everyone arrived and mingled, and there was a table set up with food and drinks for the attendees to enjoy.

A platform had been set up in one end of the gym and there was a podium with a microphone for the auctioneer.

The "Lunch With A Cheerleader Auction" was about to begin.

Mingle with the person you won the bidding wars on or with others to compare notes about what you and your cheerleader plan to do. Each cheerleader has prepared a basket meal, but it's up to the two of you where you go and when.

Ned hoped he wouldn't have any competition but he was there anyway, scoping out anyone who looked competitive.

By, you know, meekly glancing around the room. He was a tough guy.

Joan was around, helping where she could.

And trying not to worry too much that no one would bid on her.

Hannibal didn't have any classes today so he made his way down to the gym after he'd woken up, gotten cleaned up (still rocking that beard, yes) and eaten something.

He didn't really care who bid on him. It'd be fun either way.

Angela was of course there, and mingling like a pro, as per usual.

The more you were out and sociable beforehand, the more people were likely to bid on you. Well, that was her theory here, anyway.

Lee had put in a few bids with little hope of winning. He'd just been messing around but he could still come down here and check things out.

And there was free food.

Peyton was there, hoping that someone - preferably Dean, but at least someone - would bid for her.

Johnny was around, mingling and basically just chilling.

[Establishy as I'm not going to be around until way late, or possibly tomorrow.]

As soon as Jess heard about the auction, he knew he'd have to go and check it out. He wasn't usually a fan of fundraisers and community and all that crap, but this kind of auction was definitely an exception.

Kaylee was bouncing around attempting to help out wherever she could, and wondering if there'd be a bidding war over her. That'd be real exciting!

Of course, if anyone outbid Ned she'd have to sulk through the whole lunch but that didn't matter none.

Toby was there, looking smart in a light pink open-collar shirt. He was ready to buy himself something pretty.

Dinah was here to support the team, and drive up the bidding on the Roomie. Couldn't have him bought too cheaply, right?

Dean was there; he had some bids he planned to make and also planned to do whatever he needed to keep a certain douchebag from bidding on his brother.

Romeo took a plate of snacks and a seat high in the bleachers. There were a few cheerleaders he planned to bid on.

Somewhere in her mingling, Angela stopped by where Dean was. She hadn't really had the chance to stop and chat with her fake sibling in a little while.

"Planning on spending lots of money on someone today?" she asked, smiling at Dean. It was a greeting in her world.

Hurley grabbed a... generous plate of refreshments and went to sit in the bleachers. He didn't have much spare money, but he was gonna try his best.

Priestly was around, hanging out to the side mostly and surveying the crowd.

He was rather proud of what he thought was his particularly appropriate t-shirt of the day, too.

Chad was there, rubbing the back of his neck a little nervously. He really hoped that however this thing turned out for him didn't result in him having a lot of explaining to do.

"Hey Chad," Dinah said, bouncing up to him. "Are you ready for this?"

Which immediately had the Get Ready For This song running through her head, the second she said that.
