4th Floor Common Room [Friday, Afternoon]

After making an appearance in class, Angela was in need of something to cleanse her mind of the zombie movie clips. With everything going on, watching all that just made her feel a little ill.

That was why the television was tuned firmly to Nickelodeon, for something silly and distracting.

She was clutching a mug of hot chocolate, and had that hockey stick she'd picked up lying across her lap. Better safe than... something else.

[[it's a common room, and it is open.]]

Chuck was still sticking to the dorms but had gotten bored of raiding the third floor fridge so here he was, moving up to the fourth. Of course he didn't make it to the fridge once he spotted what was on TV.

"Are you watching...cartoons?" he asked.

"Hey," he said, deciding to forgo the food at the moment to flop down in an armchair. He eyed the field hockey stick lying across Angela's lap. "If you're planning to play field hockey, I'll have you know that the tiny skirt is a requirement. It's in the rules."

It so was not in the rules.

"Oh, you'll survive," Chuck said with a wave of his hand. "Just don't be an idiot who leaves the dorms to try to be a hero."

Oh thank Jim Henson, something completely not-scary on the television. After rehearsal last night Robin had barely managed to get the nerve for the return trip, and kinda never planned to leave the dorms again.

"Is there anymore hot chocolate?"

"Congratulations, we're smarter than about seventy percent of the student body," Chuck said, giving her a salute. "The good news is if everyone else dies and we have to repopulate the school we are going to make some good looking kids."

Never let it be said that Chuck Bass didn't look on the bright side of things.

"Naturally," he agreed, happy that he got her to laugh. "So there's nothing to be worried about. Either this clears up quickly or you and I have good looking, charming children. It's win-win."

"Thank you." Robin went and got himself a small (well for him it was big) cup of cocoa and joined her on the couch. "How are you holding up?" he asked. He himself was still a tad shaky after last night.

"I think this is the first time I've been in a time of crisis," Chuck said honestly. Teen drama aside, he had led a pretty relaxed life. "So you get to be the first."

"Yeah, me too."

Cause, it was very tempting.

"Not many people get to say they've been my first at something," Chuck said with a wink. Though plenty of people could say Chuck had been their first.

Chuck smirked. "Oh I'd totally show it off if I were you. Having an ego is never a bad thing."

"I like it." Mm, little marshmallows. "So, are you looking forward to the new batch of students coming in May?"

"Exactly," Chuck said, snickering. "A little confidence never hurt anybody."
