4th Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon

In the fourth floor common room, ~~Gwynn~~ Baby Plucky Duck was having the time of his wee little feathered life.

He kept running back and forth between the couch and the sink and bouncing around as he explained to everybody very loudly what was going on in his world.

It was probably a good thing that you just don't ask where all of the green feathers came from...

Plucky had a remote control in his hand and was running from along the top of the couch, to the arm, to the cushions and then to the floor.

"Elelator go dooooooown!"

Then, gleefully, he'd turn around and go the opposite way.

"Elelator go uuuuuuuuup!"

He would push the buttons on the remote control and wave it at people. "I push the button. Not your turn! My turn!"

That didn't explain why he would ever so often perch on the back of the couch and screech. "No, I'm skeered!"

Plucky had also discovered the kitchen sink in the common room and was perched on the counter, turning the water off and on.

"The water go down the hooooooole."

If someone wasn't quick enough, the adorable baby duck would pour other things down the sink and bounce ~~precariously~~ on the edge of the sink.

"It go down the hooooooole! See! See!"

Be very glad said huntress-duck hadn't discovered the bathroom...

If you don't know Plucky Duck... this was my inspiration (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHx9M-WADPI)... as I am a dork with it when I think of it on elevators. :)

He might have been scared of the pile of money that stared at him. Sure, he might only be a kid, but it was never too soon to inform people of what they could be saving with Geico.

Because it was a lot.

"Oooh... the money has eeeeeyyyyyyeees!" Plucky started bouncing up and down. "Funny money! Funny money! Waaaaaaant the funny money!"

Angela was half-way out the door towards cheerleading when she heard the noises from the common room.

She had to poke her head in. Just had to.

"... What are you doing?"

Yes the money did have eyes. All the better to stare at him with. C'mon kid, it was easy to save money with Geico...

Plucky turned the water on again.

"Look! Look! Water go down the hoooooooole!" The faucet turned off. "Water all gone." The faucet turned on. "Water back and it goes down the hoooooooole!"

This... excited Plucky Duck. He knew that mommy and daddy bought things with money. But their money didn't have eyes. This money was better.

"My money. Not your money! My money!" He waved the remote at the pile of money. "I push the button. My turn, not your turn!"

He was a baby duck, what did you expect?

ELELATOR GO DOWN THE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE! :D

MY TURN PUSH THE BUTTON. NOT YOUR TURN. MY TURN!

The money... didn't object to button pushing. As long as he switched to Geico. It could be persuasive. Very persuasive.

NOT YOUR ELELATOR. MY ELELATOR!

NO NO NO! I DON'T WANT TO. I SKEEEEEEEEERED!

Plucky Duck had no idea who or what Geico was. What he did know was that there was money with eyes in his elelator and he wanted both to be his.

He poked at the money.

"My elelator. Not your elelator. My elelator. My funny money."

Share was quite possibly not a word that Plucky had learned yet.

This is why I <3 you.

Angela wandered over, peering down the sink. "I see that, sweetie," she said with a slight chuckle.

Looked like there was another victim.

The money was his only if he switched to Geico. All that money could buy enough toys with buttons all over them.

They might even make annoying noises!

Plucky Duck would switch to whatever he had to switch to in order to have the funny money with the eyes...

...as was evidenced by Plucky reaching to try to pick up the money.

But it was only there to help! Nooo! He hadn't signed with Geico yet!

~~Gwynn~~ Plucky bounced with excitement. "They all go down, down down the hoooooole."

He reached for dish soap and started lining the sink with it, then turned on the water.

"Bubbles come up up up.... and then they go down the hoooooole..."

Except, not as quickly as Plucky would like them to.

"Down down down. Go down the hoooooole!"

*beams*

"Mine! Mine! Mine!" Baby Plucky Duck yelled, trying to pick up the money again. "My funny money! MINE!"

[[OOC: We can just say that for some reason Plucky can't get ahold of the money? :D ]]

But what about Geico?! Did no one here care about all this money?!

[[*snerk* As long as Teddy isn't ripped up, GO FOR IT]]

Plucky Duck wanted the money. He wanted it a lot. He could carry it around and make people give him things like they did Mommy and Daddy. He started pushing buttons on the remote control to show the money who was boss. As he did this, he ran along the back of the couch, down to the arm, then to the cushions, then to the floor.

All the time shrieking "Elelator go doooooooown."

Behind him, the TV kept wildly flipping channels with each button he pushed.

"Money no push the button. I push the button. Not your turn. MY TURN!"

He tried to get the money again.
