Third Floor Common Room - Late Sunday Morning

Popcorn...probably wasn't an acceptable breakfast food but it was the one thing Chuck could make without catching on fire (and even then he came close sometimes) and he was Chuck Bass, he could eat whatever the hell he wanted to in the mornings. And he could also drink scotch too. So there.

Breakfast sitting by him on the couch, the only thing Chuck had to worry about was finding something decent on TV. This was proving to be harder than he anticipated. Stupid lame ass Sunday TV lineups. The only thing that was on was Golden Girls. Which he totally didn't like. Really.

She was awake, she needed something to do until Fight Club, and she couldn't quite find solace in a book.

Once again, the silver rose was sitting on her dresser. And she was wearing the egg-sized sapphire around her neck. It seemed appropriate for today.

As such, she padded out to the common room, pulled a pillow up to her chest, and curled up on the couch to let the television rot her brain. She did, however, give Chuck a little wave. Just because her life sucked didn't mean she couldn't be polite.

Chuck certainly appreciated quiet when he was trying to get a Sunday morning buzz on but he was polite enough to wave back at Fiona. "Hey."

"Why, Chuck, I never knew the blue hairs did it for you," Hannibal said, wandering into the common room. Boredom meant searching other floors for something to do.

"Hi, Chuck," she said back before considering and asking--

"Does anyone ever call you Charles?"

It just occurred to her.

"If you think you can find anything better on then by all means take the remote," Chuck said as he grabbed another handful of popcorn. "And nothing sports."

"Hey, who says I don't like the blue hairs either?" Hannibal asked, taking a seat. "Blanche isn't that bad of a looking woman."

"My stepmother does," Chuck said, tearing his eyes away from the TV so he could look at Fiona. "And, depending on Fandom's mood, John Sheppard."

Oh, he so didn't forget the Bass-Sheppard rivalry.

"It's sad that you even know their names," Chuck said. Because he so didn't watch this show normally. Riiiiight.

"I used to get drunk and watch this show back home," he told him. "Of course I know their names. Dorothy could probably kick my ass."

Dorothy was huge and awesome.

"I was wrong. That's not said," Chuck said, smirking. "That's just incredibly pathetic."

Her expression turned to a wry grin.

"So it's like when someone uses my middle name. Got it."

"Dorothy could crush you like a pimple," Hannibal said, glancing over at him. "Don't even deny it."

"What's your middle name?" Chuck asked. It certainly couldn't be worse than his.

"Why would I have an old lady wanting to beat me up in the first place?" Chuck asked. He...he probably had no idea how much CiCi Rhodes didn't want him for a stepgrandson.

"Hey, that only works when I say it," Chuck said, throwing a handful of popcorn at Hannibal.

"You're just pissed that it worked and it's true," he said, letting the popcorn hit him and slide off into his lap. "You don't have it copyrighted, I can use it if I wanna."

"I'll work on the copyright thing," Chuck said with a nod. "Then you'll have to pay me every time you use it."

"Paige," she said with a shrug.

"Yours?"

"Or what, you'll sue me?" Scarily, he thought Chuck might actually do that. "With your cadre of high priced lawyers?"

"Morning," Hannibal said. He was pretty sure he hadn't seen her since the cabins so he asked, "How's it going? Glad to be back in the dorms?"

Yeah, his was way worse.

"Maybe. If the mood strikes me," Chuck said honestly. "Or if I'm really bored."

"It could be worse," she pointed out mildly.

"But I'll stick to Chuck."

"Let's try to avoid suing me," Hannibal said, snickering. "What are you up so early for?"

It wasn't yet afternoon so that made it early.
