The Gym -- Cheerleader Meeting, Thursday 4:00 PM

Savannah had sent out e-mails to the squad and now she was sitting on one of the mats in the gym with a notebook and clipboard. There was music from the portable stereo playing and a table with snacks and drinks.

New students were going to be arriving soon, and that meant they would have to hold try-outs.

However, right now, she was interested in seeing if they wanted to do anything to celebrate the end of the summer.

This would also give her something to focus on instead of dealing with certain things. Repression was the name of the game when you didn't have better things to do.

"It's been an interesting summer, so now we need to get back to business. First, Angela and Sam are your new co-captains as they agreed to help me out at the beginning of the summer." Savannah grinned. "So, do we want to do anything to send the summer off with a bang? We should also start trying to plan when we want to hold try-outs and maybe a Welcome To Fandom thing since new students will be arriving before too long." She bounced a bit. "Talk to me."

Because Ronon is still the most awesome coach ever.

Did I forget anything?

Hannibal grabbed a drink and flopped down on one of the mats, stretching out and wondering how in the hell the summer had passed so quickly.

Angela Montenegro

Angela had actually kind of missed all this during the summer. It felt like she hadn't got to talk to some of the team in forever, and she snagged something to nibble on as she mingled.

Joan Girardi

Mmmmm snacks.

Joan made a little plate with veggies and dip, grabbed a soda and found a spot on the floor to settle.

"Maybe we could do, like, a barbecue on the beach the week between classes ending and new students arriving," Joan suggested. "That Wednesday, the 26th? Right in the middle of the week when people are starting to get bored?"

Looking at the plot calendar, September seems clear. Maybe we should try to get tryouts marked down for the 16th?

Of course, we don't know yet when the club fair will be. So maybe not.

Naomi Wildman

Naomi was definitely there and mingling.

Ronon was the most awesome coach. And he showed up to lounge on the bleachers and listen to what the boys and girls had planned for this year.

Sam Winchester

Sam took a small plate of food and sat down, really glad to see everyone again.

The club fair will be on the 4th. :)

Eve had had to leave work early for this, but like she was going to miss one of her last chances to hang out with some of these people? Hell no.

She grabbed a plate and settled down where she could watch everybody.

Robin

Robin grabbed a drink and some cookies. Then he started looking for friends to talk to.

"Hi Naomi! How's your summer going?"

"That sounds great!" Robin loved beach parties. "Maybe we could have a bonfire too."

"Hi Robin," Naomi smiled, "my summer's going pretty good thanks, how about you?"

"Oh it's great! Aside from people not thinking I'm real. But I guess I'm getting used to that."

Naomi was sympathetic, "I'm sorry you have to deal with that," she said.

"It's mostly confusing. I can't figure out why I'm stranger than anything else around here."
