4th Floor Common Room - Tuesday afternoon

With nothing better to do with his time, Jason headed towards the common room to see if he couldn't find entertainment by way of the TV. First he had to fix himself a sandwich, and when that task was accomplished he parked his ass on the sofa and flipped through channels, trying to find some naked chicks to watch.

Maybe he'd get lucky.

Raven just so happened to be passing through the common room as she headed to work. "Hello, Jason," she said, giving him a smile.

"Hey," he said, with a look her way. "Whatcha up to?"

"I am heading into town," Raven said. "I have to work this afternoon." She added a mental Please do not ask where.

"You waitress somewhere?" he asked. Most girls he knew were waitresses. Those in Bon Temps anyhow.

She shook her head. "No, I do not," she said. "I work in one of the stores."

He grinned. "Yeah? Which one? I might have to come visit ya sometime."

Raven blushed. A lot.

"'Dite's Decadent Delights," she admitted.

"Oh," he nodded. "Like one of them chocolate gourmet places? I ain't much a fan of sweets, but the occassional candy ain't bad."

Yes, he heard of the place on the radio - even met Aphrodite and been to her party. And no, he still wasn't aware, obviously, of what the place sold.

Leto had been on his way up to the roof, but noticing that there were people in the common room on the fourth floor he stopped there instead. Company wouldn't be a bad thing.

"Are you finding what you're looking for?" he asked in response to the channel flipping.

Raven's cheeks turned even pinker. "There are chocolates and candy available there," she said. Just mostly ones shaped like body parts, though. "Lady Aphrodite deals in items to...enhance pleasure."

"Hello, Raven," Leto said, offering a small smile. He was still a little guarded around her, not because he believed she meant to be a threat, but because he clearly had powers she wasn't always in control of.

"Not really. Ain't much on I care to look at," he said, glancing over at the guy. "But I guess it passes time."

"Hello, Leto," Raven said, giving him a shy smile back. "Have you grown as weary of the snow as I have?" The enchantment didn't last long at all.

Jason was a fan of pink on a girl. "Enhance pleasure. Well now, I like the sound of that."

"I am not a good person to talk to about what is sold there," Raven said, still very pink. "I fear I do not understand the purpose of many of the items." And some she was afraid to ask about.

"Yet you work there," he pointed out, a devilish brow raised. "If I come in to buy somethin', ya couldn't help me out at all?"

"I would help you as best I could," Raven said. If she wasn't hiding in the back room. "But I am no expert."

"I kinda know my way around enhancin' pleasure," he flirted, checking her out. "I should stop by while you're workin'."

"I understand that is the purpose," Leto replied. The only thing that caught his interest on TV was documentaries and news.

"I'd rather say I've grown used to it," Leto replied truthfully. "It was annoying to begin with, now I seem to be able to ignore it."

There was a pause, then he added: "And how was your Christmas?"

It wasn't physically possible to blush any more than she already was. "Perhaps you should ask Lady Aphrodite if she needs more help at the store if you are so knowledgeable," she said. "Unless you already have a job?"

"Yeah, pretty much," he said. "Don't believe we've met. I'm Jason Stackhouse."

"Very quiet," Raven said. "Merlin held a solstice celebration, which I attended and enjoyed. I have been happy to see people returning to Fandom."

"I don't," he said, watching her because goddamn she was hot. "Ain't much plannin' on workin' but I'll think about it. Wonder if she'd let me work with you."

Jason was pretty sure every store had a storage closet.

"I do not know," Raven stammered, equally flustered by talking about DDD and by Jason's watching her. "She might think that with your experience you could educate me."

She really didn't mean it that way.
