5th Floor Common Room | Evening | Friday | January 15

When Bod left the graveyard, he'd been on his own for everything. It'd taken awhile to adjust to that fact but after some time and a few missteps, he'd gotten used to fending for himself and looking out for himself.

It was during this time that he'd discovered a fondness for Chinese food. It was easily purchased, cheap and appetizing. So, it was nice to discover that Chinese food was easily found here and it was even better that it was really good.

Bod hadn't planned much past that for this evening. Chinese food in the common room with the lights out and the television screen providing any needed illumination seemed like a perfectly fine use of his time. It was kind of nice, he decided. Peaceful. If he closed his eyes, he could imagine himself back in the graveyard with the wind chilling his cheeks.

When he opened his eyes, he was still in the common room. Bod decided that wasn't so bad either.

"Chinese?" Jennifer said, wandering into the common room. She'd dressed down from work, in a pair of comfy sweats and a UCLA long-sleeve t-shirt.

"Hey, Bod," Jennifer then greeted.

"And what did you find?" Jennifer said, making herself comfy on a couch.

"Exactly," Jennifer said. "And that's the American way. Edible, cheap, ubiquitous."

"Pretty good," Jennifer said. "Pretty good class today."

"Oh,Law and Order," Jennifer said. "It was... informative. Did you have any classes today?"

"Adjust from what?" Jennifer asked, but quickly added. "If you don't mind me asking, of course."

"That sounds like a story," Jennifer said, tucking up her legs to get more comfortable. "Is it one you don't mind sharing?"

"Tutored?" Jennifer said. "By whom?"

It said a lot that Jennifer wasn't thinking this was outrageous. Then again, she was green.

Jennifer returned the amused look. "That should have been my first guess," she said. "But you're not... are you a ghost?" She was curious, now.
