There were plenty of treats to make up for the lack of a meeting last week. Well, that and everyone jut deserved sweet things for their efforts against GODZILLA. It was their just rewards.

"Hello everyone! Welcome back to the reserve. Today we'll be discussing how things went last week," Merlin said with a bright smile. "What worked, what didn't work... you know."

"You know what doesn't work?" Karla asked sullenly. "Getting turned into a stuffed version of the monkey-pony creatures all weekend and being stuck in your room. That's not useful at all."

"Turning into a stuffed animal - not helpful," Tony said, pretending to take notes.

...Merlin wasn't going to laugh. Really. It would be cruel to laugh. "...yes." That was a sneeze. Yes. "That's generally a bad idea."

And that wasn't a glare, Karla was directing at her fellow co-Leaders. It was a...non-glaring yet intense look. Or something. "So besides the stuffed creature thing, what other issues can we come up with?" she asked. Not through clenched teeth, really.

"It'd probably help not to turn into live animals, either," Tony suggested. "Or trees."

"But we would never hold that against people!" Merlin added quickly. "So, how about we discuss?"

The life of a CEO was a stressful one and Chuck had been feeling more and more run down since his father left him Bass Inc. He was losing focus with everything. Clearly he needed to let off some steam, do something the old pre-sort-of-angelic Chuck Bass would do. Something fun.

You know what was fun? Messing with nerds. Even more fun? Messing with nerds using delicious pot brownies. Mostly because you got to sample the merchandise yourself before giving them out.

So that's how those trays of brownies ended up at the Magic Reserves meeting. If the other dorks acted as goofy as Merlin did when high then radio tonight was gonna have some hilarious results.

Enjoy, nerds.

Arthur was there. As per usual, he did not partake of the snacks ~~a pre-established habit that sadly meant no hijinks on his end~~ but he did pay attention to the proceedings.

Raven was there, of course, and just a bit nervous because she knew Kennedy would probably be there, and she hadn't seen the other girl since she'd found out she was a demon. Fortunately, there were brownies as comfort food, so she helped herself to one. Or two. Or maybe even three. Hey, she was hungry.

The brownies didn't affect her instantly, but when they did, it was with a vengeance. All her nervousness was gone, and she was feeling no pain. Just the opposite, as a matter of fact -- was relaxed and even a little euphoric. She'd even completely dropped her shields and was projecting how she felt, because everyone should feel as nice as this.

Kurt took two and munched away.

Anyone who wants to get high but not eat the brownies? Congratulations. Raven is going to be stoned out of her mind and projecting. Amplified. :D

If you don't want it to affect you, for some reason it doesn't. Mystery of the universe, yo.

"Before you cover a monster in ice, first make sure your teammate isn't on its nose," Kurt intoned, as if this was an important life lesson that everyone should take to heart.

...Ahaha. Ahem. That might be necessary, because Francine is too smart (YES WHO KNEW, though really it's less smart than PTSD-ridden) to touch the brownies. Therefore getting her stoned anyway would make my day complete.

Why yes Merlin did have a brownie. How could you tell?

The giggling, you say? Well... maybe it was a give away. He wasn't normally this much of a pre-teen girl.

Raven is projecting, and Jono is psi-sensitive. :D This bodes well for boys without mouths who can't get high otherwise.

No snacks for Kennedy today, actually; passing by Outback on her run this morning had put the idea of steak and lobster for lunch in her head and clearly, the only way to dislodge that idea was to actually go and indulge it. Plus a Bloomin' Onion and dessert and... yeah. For once, she didn't even want to think about food.

She was keeping an eye on Raven, though.

And thinking that maybe if she turned into a hedgehog again, it might be worth considering the possibility of, like, learning to shoot her spines or something. Could hedgehogs do that?

Wait. Was she actually thinking about this? No freaking way. And yet yes. Because funny. Man, that'd be neat...

After the last week and weekend, seeing brownies were an awesome thing. So, of course, Savannah snagged a few.

Look, she could work off the calories later.

Tony was in a pretty good mood himself. These were really excellent brownies. J, GoB done good today.

I just have to say that Phoebe is sad that she is missing this. :D

And if Chloe wasn't too shy to come to Magic Reserves, I could have so much fun with her. *is evil*

Jono was not eating the brownies, for obvious reasons. For less obvious reasons that may or may not be related to a certain empath projecting and projecting loudly, he certainly seemed to be feeling no pain, today.

Well, maybe a little pain. He'd just about kill for a cheeseburger right now, and that wasn't about to happen any time soon, now was it?

"I still have one of the lizards inside me," Raven announced happily.

"Oh, now what's gotten into you?" Arthur ~~bitched~~ muttered, coming up on him.

His head was too thick for an empath contact-high. That had to be it.

You know, maybe sharing had been the right thing to do. After grumping a bit in the beginning, Karla had helped herself to a few brownies (three, maybe four, look, she still had fewer than Raven, okay?!) and started feeling a lot better.

No, really, a lot better. It helped that everything was funny.

It wouldn't have been so bad if someone wasn't also projecting.
