Raven's turn to lead the meeting meant that the snacks were dominated by fresh fruits and a veggie tray -- with hummus, of course. Much healthier than any sort of sour cream based dip! There was also cheese and crackers and some muffins and cookies as well, though made with organic whole wheat flour. And some that were gluten-free and marked as such, as were anything with nuts or dairy. Shut up, Kennedy.

"Most of you should be aware of what happened on Friday," Raven began after people had arrived. "Fandom was beset by vicious flying fish that attacked without any provocation. And once they were slain, they returned as undead creatures, like the zombies in Caritas." Only without nearly as much musical talent.

"Dolf quickly set up a support station in the dorm lobby." Raven glanced over to where Dolf stood and gave him a smile. "Many of us who could heal or tend injuries stayed there, and weapons were provided to those who required them to defend themselves." Her voice didn't falter at all, but her smile faded just a tiny bit at the implication of violence. She was becoming more accustomed to it, but that didn't mean she liked it.

"Today we'd like to share what you did during this day, be it fighting, supporting, or just staying out of the way," Raven went on. "Is there anything you would have liked to have done differently, or known how to do better? Is there anything you think the reserves as the group could do differently or better? Please, do not be afraid to speak up. If there ways we can improve, we would very much like to hear them."

"I, um, didn't get outside," Tara admitted, self-conscious. "I had a really bad cold. So anything you can tell me about what you did would help me. A lot."

Raven looked at Tara as she spoke, her expression making it clear she thought Tara should have come to her if she'd been sick. Your cold, give it to her.

"Also, for those of you who went joined up with the Martial Reserve, how did that work out for you?" Karla added, with a comforting smile at Tara. "It's important that we learn how to most effectively combine our skills across all three Reserve divisions."

Dolf had been nodding along up until that point. "And, uh," he started, "It went good this time. No one died. But I want to know which one of you will want to be there to help at the support station next time something happens. Let me know so I can call, okay? More help is a good thing."

"So who wishes to go first?" Raven said, addressing everyone again. "And if you do not feel comfortable speaking in front of everyone, please, feel free to approach one of us privately to share your thoughts."

Partake of the healthy snacks!

What did you do during the weekend? Is there anything that you wish you or the Reserves as a whole could have done differently or better? If you worked with the Martial Reserves, how did that work out?

Stronger than The Thing, hotter than the Human Torch, more flexible than Mr. Fantastic, more...umm...forceful than the Invisible Woman! The Fantastic Four ain't got nothing on this quartet!

I have a breakfast burrito in a toasted pesto wrap with egg, pepper, bacon, and swiss cheese. Nom nom nom.

Oh, and a 1 liter bottle of Diet Mountain Dew.

Raven was there, of course, and much more settled than she had been yesterday, though she was still a little bit out of sorts if she thought back to the conversation she'd had with Sherlock. She was totally telling Anakin, shhh.

Karla was stacking cheese and crackers into a giant tower of deliciousness, but was available to talk to people.

"One of the new professors is very unpleasant," Raven ~~bitched~~ complained to Karla.

"The creepy old male?" Karla asked, looking away from her cracker tower for a moment. "The things I've heard about him and his class on the radio sound like it."

"I think perhaps he is creepy, but not old," Raven said, "so I am not certain we are thinking of the same person. Professor Sherlock. I met him for the first time yesterday."

"Isn't he the one who bothers Jono at the library?" Karla asked, expression darkening.

Raven nodded. "Yes, and that is why I wished to speak to him," she said. "To find out why and request he stop. But he was rude and the visit was very unsettling."

"Unsettling?" Karla asked. "How? What did he say?"

It was a good thing she was using Craft to support her cracker tower, as both her hands were planted firmly on her hips.

Elphaba was quite pleased with the labelling of the snacks, and quietly nibbled at an apple. She was still so uncertain here. She didn't believe in lying, but she didn't believe in sharing her secrets, either. Even if this place would not ask her to hide it.

It was rather vexing, like so much of this world.

"He admitted he had been harassing Jono," Raven said, her expression growing dark. "And that he did not wish to stop because it found it fascinating to do so. And then he insulted all the students and attempted to provoke my own emotions."

"He finds it fascinating?" Karla repeated. "It's okay because it's interesting? Do you think it would be interesting for him to think he's a frog for a few days?"

She ate the top layer of her tower, the crackers crunching in a very satisfying manner.

"Provoke your emotions how?" she asked, swallowing.

Raven made a dismissive hand gesture. "He pretended to have some insight into my motivations for requesting him to stop," she said. He just did a good job pretending.

Tara munched on veggies with hummus, a bit sheepish. Next invasion, she'd have something better to say than "right, I was sick in bed the whole time..."

"To be honest, I would have wished to help find a way to have merely trapped or diverted them," Elphaba said, soldidly. "While I have accepted the fact they were monstrous, hungry and mindless, I still would have preferred that they did not have to die, especially not multiple times."

"I'm interested in any ideas people have for what you can do if you aren't operating at, um, full capacity during an event like this," Tara said. "Friday was a one-day thing, but if it had been worse I would have had to help out."

"I would have preferred that as well," Raven said, nodding in agreement. "Though when I took several into my Soul-Self, they turned on each other and became zombies inside me. It was a very unpleasant feeling."

Raven had a lot of hand gestures.

"Like...you're a good person and don't want your friends harassed about things they are already upset about, especially less than a month after their girlfriends...leave?"

It was hard to find the proper adjective for that.

Raven sign language was a learning experience.

"Yes, that is what it is," Raven said, nodding. "But he tried to imply it was something more."

"Like what?" Karla asked, tilting her head a bit in question.

What? Kennedy hadn't said anything. She was a total paragon of non-commentary on things like the food labels today. God. She'd picked out a pear and was crunching away at it intermittently for the first few minutes of the meeting.

...after which she had to go back for another one, and tried to make that one last a little longer.
