Third Floor Common Room [Sunday afternoon]

There were little kids everywhere. And Jaime wasn't responsible for them.

Which meant he could make ice cream sundaes for everyone and not have to deal with the ensuing sugar rush. Which would make him everyone's favorite! It was a cunning plan, indeed!

And he was making waffle cones.

Momoko came running into the room. She'd been 'SPLORING all day and heard someone in th'big room and it sounded like they were making foods! "Foods foods foods!!"

...She gave a gleeful shriek when she saw who it was and rushed to glomp his legs. Hopefully he didn't fall over!

Jaime grinned, looking down to see red hair and something stuck to his leg. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?"

"Hi Jaime Hi hi hi hi hi! I've been 'SPLORING!" In case he hadn't seen the narrative. Or the condition of her princess fairy dress.

She looked up at him, beaming. "An' I lostded my wand again but you can make me a other one right? I'm huuuuuuuungry! Can I help?"

She blinked up at him. "Yes?"

Then of course, the FOREVER she'd been standing still was gone and she was turning around and running to get an apron. A big person apron, cause she was almost five! "I'll help! I'll help! I can help, I can!" She managed not to trip on the apron as she then dragged a stool next to him and started to climb up.

She was almost five, but still not that tall.

Fortunately Jaime was used to Fandom by now. At least enough so to recover from surprise rather quickly.

"Sploring. There's lotsa places that has to be 'splored an' I'm gotta do it 'cause Dinah's with Priestly in Santa's crooz. She's portecting him." She stood on the stool and put a hand on his shoulder to steady herself as she leaned over to see what he was doing. "Are we making marshamamellows? Dinah's havin' marshamamellows and sammiches but I wan' marshamamellows and cookies."

"We're making sundaes," Jaime answered, shaking his head in amusement. "Which are even tastier."

Poor Jaime.

Momoko's eyes got wider with each ingredient he listed. And she may have started to tremble a bit when he mentioned waffle cones. "An' gummy bears?"

"YAY!" That earned him a bouncy glomp around the neck. "Ice creams and gummy bears and sprinkles and waffles and marshamamellows is the bestest lunch ever!"

What was amazing was how he was letting Momoko gorge on sugar. He apparently didn't realize that she'd had nothing but sugar (and maybe a PB&J earlier) all day.

"It is it is it is!" She let go of him and tried to climb down from the stool. "Gummmmmmmmy bears! Gotta find some guuummy beaaars!" It took a moment since she got her shoe tangled in the apron, but she finally managed, falling slightly to the floor with a plop.

"I tolded Dinah you were the bestest ever. Better than Priestly. Can we have cookies too?" She took off her shoe and threw it into the main part of the common room. "...for desserts? Stoopid shoe."

Oh, he'd realized. He knew what Momoko on a sugar high looked like, after all. "We'll have to see," Jaime temporized, hesitant to give her too much sugar even if he didn't have to watch her later on.

Alex had been coloring in her room for what felt like forever and decided she should go exploring. Exploring translated to stepping out of her room and trekking down the long hallway to the common room entrance.

She stuck her head in, instantly curious. "What are you doing?"

Sundaes equaled chocolate, which caused Alex to jump up excitedly and make a beeline for Jaime. "Are you gonna have one?" She didn't want to be the only one eating. Sundaes were meant to be shared, after all!

"Of course," he laughed. "I wouldn't be cruel enough to make you eat it all by yourself."

"So... what kind of ice cream do you want?" he asked. "We've got chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry." The classics were classic for a reason, after all.
