hurtingzeebo: (I'm bored)

Fourth floor common room, Wednesday afternoon

Sam was bored. This was a rather dangerous situation, without Carly around to keep her entertained and mostly out of trouble. At the moment, she was just dealing with it by watching the Food Network, but the way she was side-eying the door to the common room hinted at possible troublesome antics on the way.

She wondered if she still had that paintball blow gun stashed away, somewhere.

[ooc: open common room is open. Let's give radio something to report!]

Freddie ran into the common room, without a shirt.

"Ahhh, ahhh," he shouted, before grabbing the water sprayer from the sink and spraying his chest with cold water. He let out a relieved sigh at that moment.

When he realized someone else was in the room, he decided this situation required an explanation.

"I spilled hot cocoa on myself," he said, trying to act like this was just a normal situation.

"...it's back in my room," Freddie said. "And it has cocoa all over it."

"I am not channeling Gibby," Freddie objected. "For one, I don't intend to dance. Plus I probably should go get a shirt. Before I get a rash or something."

"No, but there might be something, you know... weird in the air," Freddie said, stretching a bit. "Like... mutant dust pollen."

Freddie just made a pouty face for a moment. "...so I should probably go put on a shirt, then."

"...Why am I now worried you'll throw hot cocoa at me?" Freddie said.

"Point," Freddie said. "I'm gonna go... put on a shirt, now."

He ducked out, and came back in a few minutes later with a fresh shirt on.

"I own a lot of penny tees," he remarked on his way back in.

"I'm cool," Freddie objected/whined. "I'm perfectly cool. Name one thing about me that isn't cool."

Topher was also pretty bored. It was a fascinating thing -- all those years he'd loathed his stupid fancy private schools, but he was starting to realize that they had at least done a decent job of keeping him occupied. Fandom, on the other hand...

Well, he was going out of his mind with boredom. So. To the common room it was!

"Hey," he said, flopping down on the couch in a fairly impressive leap. Then he realized who it was he was sitting next to, and he held up both hands. "Wait, no bras, right?"

"Fear of rashes is perfectly normal," Freddie said. "Nobody cool has a rash, right?"

Ew. Ew ew ew ew why had he even asked?

"Noooooot too much," he said, stretching out comfortably. "Bored out of my mind, though."

"Right? Right?!"

This had become a problem with him, yes.

"Ugh," he moaned into the arm of the couch. "Break week is so boring, I'd almost rather be back home."

Except not. Back home sucked.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, paintball?

"I think I left mine at home," Topher said mournfully. "But I have my whole laser tag set in my room! I have enough for eight people."

Because yes, a laser tag set for eight people was the kind of thing Topher thought would be useful at boarding school. Don't judge.
