Honey Badger Sam in tow, Freddie set up everything in the rec room to prepare for the show tonight.

Carly, on the computer feed from Seattle, was a little skeptical.

"So, Sam is a 'badger'," she said, actually air-quoting with her fingers. "And this Miley girl is going to sit in for her?"

"Miley's awesome," Freddie said. "She'll be a... more perky, brunette Sam."

Carly's skeptical look was skeptical.

"I'm serious!" Freddie retorted.

"As serious as you are about her turning into a 'badger'," Carly retorted, air-quoting again.

"Badgers are real, Carly!" Freddie exclaimed. "That's not the part to 'air-quote'." He even air-quoted himself at that.

Wherein One is Carly, and the other... is not Sam!

What a better what to start, than with... Gibby!

"Well, now that that's over," Carly said from Seattle. "I think we should get to know our guest host a little better, don't you?"

"And now," Carly said, addressing the camera. "I think it's time we took some callers from the internet, don't you? What have we got, Freddie?"

Assuming one comes in.

Someone will introduce a video. It will be very random.

Where sadly we are out of time.

"And we're clear," Freddie declared, letting everyone know they were no longer broadcasting live to the internet.

Wooo! Expecting our guest host for sure, But anyone is welcome to either call-in or show up in the 'studio'!

Aaaand in skipped Miley, looking completely delighted to be making an appearance. (Hey. Hannah was the one who had to act all Too Cool For Web Shows; Miley could totally show her enthusiasm.) "Hi!" she chirped at Freddie, then skipped over to the computer feed to wave at Carly. "Hey! Ohmigod, I am so excited to guest host tonight! I'm Miley, by the way. And you're Carly! But you know that. Hi!"

...Breathe, Miley.

"I see what you were saying about the Perky," Carly said via the feed. "Hey Miley, it's nice to have you on the show."

Gibby peered in from behind Carly.

"Hey, isn't that the South Dakota girl you had on the show a few weeks ago?"

"...Gibby, you're not on any medication right now, are you?" Freddie asked.

Miley may have looked a bit perturbed by that remark, but soon the perkiness took over and she was happily breezing past it.

"Oh, you mean Hannah Montana?" she laughed, pretending to blush. "You flatter me."

Which was just another way of flattering herself, really.

"So what are we doing today?" she asked brightly. "Random dancing? Salad dressing shenanigans? Dressing up in crazy costumes?" All three of which she happily did for fun on her own time anyway.

"Well the point of random dancing is that it's random," Freddie said. "It might happen, though."

"And the crazy costumes sounds fun though," Carly chimed in. "Want to dress up for the intro?"

"Oooh, yeah!" Miley exclaimed. She was already starting to prefer co-hosting with Carly rather than Sam. "I have tons of clothes, too! What kind of costume are you thinking?"

It was true. Her costume housed everything from a moose suit to an alien mask. And, if she said so herself, she thought she looked rather adorable in all of them.

"Well, how do you feel about dressing like Sam?" Carly said, bemusedly.

Freddie, for his part, just looked quizzically at the feed from Seattle.

Miley tilted her head, considering that. "Huh," she said thoughtfully. Then she held up a finger, said "One sec," and darted out of the room.

She was back less than a minute later dressed in an identical outfit to the one she had seen Sam wear the last time she was on the show. She had even taken the liberty of parting her hair to match Sam's.

"Better?"

...Someone could speed-dress.

"Wow," said Carly and Freddie in unison.

"Well, that's perfect. It's just as a joke, though, I don't want you to be just like Sam," Carly clarified.

"Gotcha," Miley said, giving Carly a thumbs-up. "No attacking Freddie. Noted."

You're welcome, Freddie!

"So... anything else I should know before we get started?"

"Well, that would be okay with me, actually," Carly said.

"Awwwww, man," Freddie whined.

"Shush, we're planning," Carly said. "I think we're just going to wing it. Gibby's got something prepared, and Freddie mentioned something about you wanting to take callers?"

"Well, it's just a little something I have some experience in," Miley said, pretending to pretend to sound full of herself. "If that's cool."

"Totally cool," Carly said. "We've not done it in too long, so... glad to do it when you're here!"

"Anything else, ladies?" Freddie said. "Because it's almost time to start."

"That's about it for my questions!" Miley said brightly, swinging her arms back and forth.

Yay! Possible web fame!

...What was that about having a secret identity because she "wanted to live a normal life"?

"Ready?"

"Ready," Freddie said. "Okay people, we're live in five, four, three, two..."
