First Floor Lobby: Monday Morning

Jack's attempt to save people from themselves had resulted in one dead body, the birth of an alien baby and one daring escape.

While had hoped to help more, Jack was happy to at least help two people out. And the alien baby.

Right now Jack was fast asleep in the lobby and any of the detainees who had not escaped during the night could probably leave without an embarrassing situation. If they so choose.

[For those who might be here. If you wish to speak to Jack you can expect bursts of SP as I'm bouncing through airports today.]

Scully had woken up very early to no baby. And no mess. Well. That was something, right?

After getting cleaned up, she headed into town and found coffee. Thank God.

She brought back several, and stood over Jack, hoping he'd wake up soon.

"Probably just as well," Scully said, watching this reaction in bemusement. "I have coffee. And a promise to not try and attack you with zip-ties. And an apology."

"I would be thrilled if it were that simple," Scully said, offering him the coffee. "But it's appreciated all the same. You went above and beyond while I was in Labor. You and Mr.-- Ohio?"

"Oh, he's next," Scully admitted, looking tired and a little sheepish. "And let's not. The baby's-- gone back. To wherever light-bulb babies go."

Awwww. And... yeah. Scully shook her head. "So things are back to normal. You're safe."
